Jayson Tatum had one of the biggest comeback moments in his last match. Pitted against the Toronto Raptors, the match went right down to the wire. However, at the fag of the regulation time, Tatum made a glaring mistake to miss the opportunity of winning the game for his team. But when he got the ball once more in a similar situation, Tatum did not repeat his mistakes.

With the game going into overtime, things got tight at both ends. But right at the very last seconds, Tatum made a heroic comeback. Getting the ball in his shooting range, the 26-year-old scored a thumping three-peat just as the buzzer hit. His shot made all the difference as the Boston Celtics clinched the game with a 126-123 victory. However, after all the jubilation has somewhat pacified, a new controversy has been brewing. Jayson Tatum might have traveled with the ball before taking the shot.

In a recently uploaded slow-motion image of Tatum, an X account named ‘BricksCenter’ wrote, “Tatum got away with a travel on the game winner.” Now, as per the NBA rule, when a player moves more than two steps without dribbling the ball, it is considered as illegal. The slow motion footage provided did make it appear that Tatum might have been guilty of carrying the ball.

However, nothing confirmed can be said as the evidence provided was too weak to reach a conclusion. Meanwhile, this was not the only controversy that Tatum was involved in recent times. During his match against the Milwaukee Bucks, Tatum lashed out at the referee.

Jayson Tatum Lashes Out At Referee For Not Calling Foul On Giannis Antetokounmpo

Jayson Tatum suffered an injury scare during his face-off with the Bucks. As the Celtics got a 113-107 win, Giannis Antetokounmpo’s aggressive play nearly spelled doom for the 26-year-old. During the game, Tatum attempted a shot from outside the left corner. Trying to block the shot, Antetokounmpo barged in, causing Tatum to nearly twist his ankle.

As the referee did not call foul, Tatum got enraged. “It’s a tough situation… But certain calls I feel like [referees] can’t miss. Your job is to protect the guys on the court, protect the shooter. That’s something I could’ve been out for six weeks… for it to be a no-call… that s**t is frustrating,” Tatum told the media. Thus, having quite an impressive season this year, it remains to be seen whether Tatum can carry the positive momentum forward.

Jayson Tatum was one of the biggest fans of Kobe Bryant growing up. Thus, it was pretty normal for him to fancy a deal with the Los Angeles Lakers. Unfortunately, Tatum had his heart broken when the Lakers bypassed him and drafted Lonzo Ball instead back in 2017. However, despite the somber outcome, there was a particular reason why the Lakers did not want Tatum in the first place.

In a recent episode of SiriusXM NBA Radio, Magic Johnson reflected on the Lakers’ decision not to draft Tatum. Johnson also opined that the decision was also heavily influenced by none other than his agent. “I wanted to address that and let him know – yes, we looked at him, but his agent also didn’t want us to work him out because he didn’t want him to end up with the Lakers because we are already top-heavy with forwards,” said Johnson.

The NBA legend further explained that the Lakers already had Julius Randle and Brandon Ingram warming the bench. Thus, there was no feasible reason for the Lakers to draft another forward. On the contrary, it might have resulted in Tatum getting benched, which would have hampered his own progress in the long run. Meanwhile, the NBA is not the only area of interest for Magic Johnson, it seems. The NBA legend also made a sad statement following Mike Tyson’s loss to Jake Paul.

Magic Johnson Gives His Two Cents On Mike Tyson’s Heartbreaking Loss

November 20 was a historic day for the boxing fans. 58-year-old Mike Tyson came back from retirement to face 28-year-old Jake Paul. While the hype was skyrocketing, the match, in reality, turned out to be a dampener. Tyson’s age proved to be a deciding factor, as he looked visibly tired as the game progressed. Ultimately, it was Jake Paul who picked up the victory.

And this outcome did not sit well with Magic Johnson. While Johnson expected Tyson to win, the sorry display made him come to a saddening conclusion. “This fight tonight was not great for boxing,” Johnson said. Thus, keeping an opinion about every major happening in sports, Magic Johnson has established himself as an important sporting voice of recent times.

The Notre Dame Band, known for its precision and professionalism, showcased their versatility, performing arrangements that both honored the spirit of Bon Jovi’s music and demonstrated their own musical prowess.

The brass section blazed through the energetic riffs, while the percussion section set the pace with an infectious rhythm. The strings and woodwinds added rich layers, creating a vibrant and full-bodied sound that brought Bon Jovi’s songs to life in a way that only a live performance can.

The tribute was more than just a musical nod to the past—it was a reminder of how music transcends time, genres, and occasions. Apart from his 35-year marriage, not much is known about Bon Jovi’s romantic past. However, he has been spotted multiple times throughout the years hanging out with a number of famous women, including stars like Julia Roberts and Elizabeth Hurley. These could be some of the 100 women in his life, however, they have not been supported by substantial proof apart from their closeness in paparazzi pictures. In this article, we look through some of the women he dated and some of the gorgeous women he shared a strong chemistry with.

Bon Jovi met his future wife Dorothea while they were students at New Jersey’s Sayreville War Memorial High School. The pair eloped to Las Vegas in 1989 after waiting nine years to tie the knot at the height of his success. They went on to have four children: Stephanie, Jesse, Jacob, and Romeo. With Bon Jovi and Dorothea founding the JBJ Soul Foundation together in 2006 and opening three pay-what-you-can restaurants across the country, the two appeared to be the epitome of a perfect marriage.

For a man who made his place among the world’s top rock stars, being spotted with multiple women is something that’s anticipated. However, none of his relationships with the women—except for Diane Lane and fellow singer Lita Ford who admitted they “made out”—have ever been confirmed. In her 2012 memoir, ‘Living Like A Runaway’, vocalist and guitarist Lita Ford revealed that she and Bon Jovi had “made out” after a crazy night of partying back in 1984.

    3. Diane Lane

Their romance reportedly began in 1985, when Bon Jovi had released his debut album and Lane was becoming famous for her performance in ‘The Outsiders,’ as per The List. Although the specifics of their meeting remain unclear, Lane and Bon Jovi appeared to have mutual connections and were given special access to VIP events during their courtship.

Pregnant Kylie Kelce Hints at Baby Name for Daughter No. 4 with Husband Jason: ‘All Bets Are Off’

Kylie and Jason are already parents to daughters Wyatt, Elliotte and Bennett

Kylie Kelce and her husband, Jason Kelce, have a difficult decision ahead of them.

The couple, who are already parents to daughters Wyatt Elizabeth, 5, Elliotte Ray, 3, and Bennett Llewellyn, 22 months, are tasked with coming up with a fourth girl’s name when their new daughter arrives in the spring,

“Going on fourth, it’s like a disaster,” Kylie, 32, admitted on the Thursday, Jan. 9 episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast. “You’ve already used them all up. All bets are off.”

Kylie and her former NFL star husband do know what type of name they plan to pick for their little girl, however.

“We’re doing a little crossover action,” she explained. “I feel like we have to lean a little bit towards those sort of gender-neutral names for our fourth because we have Wyatt, Elliotte, Bennett. So if we do a full commit to a girly name at this point, it would not sit well with the other three, I think. Eventually, they’ll be like, ‘Why did they get a cute girly name?’ ”

One name that the pair seriously considered in the past was Charlie.

“We debated Charlie for our first, and then within, I think, six months, we had three different friends who named their kid Charlie,” Kylie explained. “This was six years ago. And Jason and I were like, ‘Shoot.’ ”

The expectant mom is still happy with their final choice. “Wyatt is a Wyatt, but I love the name Charlie,” she added.

This time around Wyatt is ready to step up and help mom out with the family’s newest addition too.

“I will say that my oldest, she’s five now,” Kylie said of Wyatt. “The way she’s getting excited for this next baby is very sweet to watch because she’s very much in that phase of, like, ‘I can get diapers. I can fill up my own water bottle. I can do these things independently.’ “

“To see her get so excited about getting another baby and her having the opportunity to help is very exciting to watch.”

Jason recently gushed over his wife’s new podcast venture, telling PEOPLE he was not at all surprised by her success.

“I think Kylie is a very authentic person. I think she’s very real,” he shared. “And I think that that makes people connect with her. And I think that she’s very smart, she’s funny, she’s charismatic, she’s beautiful. So I think when you combine all those traits, people tend to like listening to her.”

  • “Uncovering the Tragic Truth About Jon Bon Jovi’s Daughter, Stephanie Rose. Heartbreaking Details That Have Left Fans in Shock!”

“Uncovering the Tragic Truth About Jon Bon Jovi’s Daughter, Stephanie Rose. Heartbreaking Details That Have Left Fans in Shock!”

This article contains references to substance use.

For decades, Jon Bon Jovi has been synonymous with rock stardom. With hits like “Livin’ on a Prayer” and “It’s My Life,” he became a cultural icon around the world. But beyond the music and sold-out arenas, Jon Bon Jovi’s greatest role has always been as a father. Married to his high school sweetheart Dorothea Hurley, the couple tried to raise the four Bongiovi children away from the Hollywood limelight. Yet, fame’s long shadow is notoriously difficult to escape, especially for their eldest, Stephanie Rose Bongiovi.

Stephanie Rose’s life has been anything but ordinary, often marked by pressure and moments of unimaginable struggle. Her journey thus far hasn’t exactly been one of perfection or polished family portraits. It’s one of resilience in the face of public scrutiny and personal hardship. From growing up in the public eye to battling a near-fatal overdose in college, Stephanie Rose Bongiovi’s story is as sobering and inspiring as it is layered and raw, offering a look into the humanity of an otherwise untouchable family.

Despite Jon Bon Jovi And His Wife’s Efforts To Shield Their Children, Stephanie Rose Couldn’t Escape The Attention From The Public

Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Hurley have always prided themselves on staying grounded. They built their lives and their family outside the glittering chaos of Los Angeles, opting instead for the more subdued suburbs of New Jersey. “I never pointed at the TV and said, ‘There’s Daddy!’ We try hard just to give our kids a normal life,” Hurley told People, a sentiment reflected in their low-key lifestyle. Yet, for their eldest daughter Stephanie Rose Bongiovi, growing up “normal” was never entirely possible.

When asked about the strain of sharing a name with a world-famous musician, Dorothea proclaimed, “That’s his life, not ours. … We never really drag the kids to things.” Nonetheless, Stephanie Rose eventually found herself at the center of public attention, not by choice, but by proximity. While her parents tried to shield her, the reality of her father’s celebrity status made anonymity nearly impossible.

The Bongiovis may have been determined to offer their kids a normal upbringing, but they couldn’t possibly control the outside world. The media’s fascination with the family meant that Stephanie Rose likely had to navigate not just adolescence but also the weight of her family name.

Stephanie Rose Bongiovi Overdosed While At College

In 2012, Stephanie Rose Bongiovi was a college student, navigating life at Hamilton College in upstate New York. By all accounts, she seemed to be on the right track, but one night in November of that year changed everything. Stephanie Rose was found unresponsive in her dorm room after a heroin overdose, a harrowing incident that would thrust her and her family into the headlines.

The overdose shocked the world as well as those closest to her. While many viewed the Bongiovi family as untouchable, the incident revealed a painful reality: addiction and its dangers don’t discriminate. Paramedics revived Stephanie Rose alongside fellow alumni Ian Grant, and while that may have been good news at first glance, the emotional aftermath for her family was profound.

The public response was mixed. Sympathy poured in from fans who saw her as a young woman caught in a tragic situation, but others were quick to judge, sparking debates about privilege, addiction, and responsibility. For Jon Bon Jovi, the incident was a nightmare made worse by its very publicized nature. As he later reflected, the overdose marked one of the most challenging moments of his life, dubbing it his “worst moment as a father.” Yet, he later acknowledged that he was just happy his daughter survived the ordeal. “I feel it was a terrible tragic lesson of life but I thank God every day because she is whole. It happened and it has gone,” the musician told the Mirror.

Stephanie Rose Bongiovi Faced A Legal Aftermath Following Her Overdose

Stephanie Rose Bongiovi’s overdose didn’t just bring personal turmoil, it also had legal implications. Police responding to the scene discovered heroin and other paraphernalia in her dorm room, initially leading to her arrest and potential drug possession charges. However, New York’s 911 Good Samaritan Law, designed to protect those seeking emergency help for overdoses, ensured she avoided prosecution.

This legal reprieve gave Stephanie Rose the chance to focus on recovery without the burden of criminal charges. But while the courts showed leniency, the court of public opinion was less forgiving. Headlines continued to sensationalize the story, and critics questioned whether she received special treatment because of her last name. Allegedly, a friend of the family even spilled intimate details of her struggles, telling the New York Daily News, “Stephanie has been undergoing a drug problem for quite some time. Friends and family have been worried about her and unsuccessful in getting her to rehab,” the friend said. “She wasn’t listening to anyone. Sometimes her friends wouldn’t hear from her for weeks.”

For the Bongiovis, they focused on working to help Stephanie Rose heal while trying to drown the noise out. “I’m shocked as much as the next parent with this situation and had no idea. But then you surround them with the best help and love and move on, and that’s where we’re at with it,” Jon Bon Jovi explained to Today. The ordeal was a reminder of the complexities of addiction and recovery under the spotlight, one that never truly untethered itself from Stephanie Rose’s reputation.

Stephanie Rose Bongiovi Assumed A Path To Recovery But Never Completely Escaped The Stigma

After the overdose, Stephanie Rose Bongiovi’s recovery journey was a complicated one, shaped by public perception as much as personal resolve. Returning to college to finish her studies was a brave step, but it wasn’t without its challenges. While she worked to rebuild her life, the incident seemed to overshadow her efforts. Whispers about the overdose lingered, and Stephanie Rose became a reluctant symbol of privilege meeting consequence.

Her father, Jon Bon Jovi, remained steadfast in his support, quietly helping his daughter navigate the fallout. Speaking at a press conference shortly after the incident, he emphasized the importance of unconditional love and learning lessons. “She’s getting through it,” the rockstar father said (via TheThings). “She’s healthy … The greatest gift that I have is that I have her. We’ll get through this. It was a shock for everybody, and hopefully, we learn from these life lessons.” This foundation proved vital for Stephanie Rose’s recovery. But no amount of family support could fully insulate her from the stigma of her past.

Though she manages to stay out of the public eye and avoid any interviews, her story continues to resurface in conversations about addiction. It’s a reality she can’t entirely escape, but one she’s worked to overcome. Recovery is never a straight line, and for Stephanie Rose, it’s been a quiet, persistent fight to reclaim her narrative.

Stephanie Rose Bongiovi Chose To Work Behind The Camera But Her Issues Remained In The Spotlight

Despite her preference for privacy, Stephanie Rose Bongiovi hasn’t shied away from being the center of attention from time to time — she’s modeled for fashion shows and has even danced along to her dad’s performances on stage. Yet, she seems most comfortable behind the scenes, working as a production assistant and camera operator for hit shows like “Impractical Jokers.” It’s a role that seems to suit her quiet nature, allowing her to stay connected to the world of creativity while avoiding the pitfalls of widespread fame.

Yet even in this relatively anonymous space, Stephanie Rose hasn’t entirely escaped the glare of her last name. Media outlets often reference her past struggles when covering her career, a constant reminder of the overdose that first brought her into the public consciousness. For someone trying to move forward, this kind of coverage is an uphill battle.

Still, Stephanie Rose has carved out a niche for herself, proving that she’s more than just her father’s daughter or a headline from 2012. While her career hasn’t been widely publicized, those close to her have noted her work ethic and resilience. In many ways, her behind-the-scenes role almost serves as a metaphor for her life — rebuilding far from the chaos of being a talking point or cautionary tale.

Stephanie Rose Bongiovi Leads A Low-Profile Existence To Move Forward And Find Happiness

In recent years, Stephanie Rose Bongiovi has focused on creating a meaningful and fulfilling life, one defined by growth rather than past challenges. While she largely stays out of the public eye, she made a rare appearance with her parents at the MusiCares Person of the Year Gala in February 2024. The event honored her father, Jon Bon Jovi, for his philanthropic contributions, and Stephanie Rose’s presence was a quiet yet powerful show of support for the family’s shared values.

In another rare moment of publicity, Jon Bon Jovi confirmed in 2024 that Stephanie Rose was engaged to be married. With her engagement marking a significant milestone, she began to actively embrace a new chapter, one centered on stability and happiness. The rockstar dad reflected on her engagement with a mix of pride and humor, noting, “I’m not gonna be No. 1 anymore,” he said on the “Sunday Sitdown with Willie Geist” (via Today). The singer was so ecstatic he even recorded a song specifically for his daughter’s special day titled “Kissed the Bride.”

For Stephanie Rose, the focus is on what lies ahead. Whether celebrating family achievements or enjoying her marriage, she’s choosing to embrace the positives while leaving the struggles of her past behind.

Jon Bon Jovi revealed his wife Dorothea Hurley’s high school yearbook love note that she wrote him during a recent appearance on “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”

The musician, 62, recalled that he fell “in love with the girl who was sitting next to [him] in history class.”

According to the rocker, he actually never calls Hurley by that nickname, but did explain the song she referred to.

“There was a song I had written called ‘Bobby’s Girl,’” he told host Kelly Clarkson. “It was one of the first original songs I had written. She was dating my buddy Bobby. He went off to join the service, as did my other two best friends. They joined the Navy. And it was my senior year of high school, and I just fell in love.”

The Bon Jovi frontman and Hurley would go on to marry at the Graceland Chapel in Las Vegas in 1989. More recently, however, the singer revealed that he was “not a saint” during their 35-year marriage.

“I got away with murder,” he told Good Morning America’s Michael Strahan during their hourlong interview special, “Halfway There,” on ABC in April. “I’m a rock ‘n’ roll star, I’m not a saint. You know, I’m not saying that there weren’t 100 girls in my life — I’m Jon Bon Jovi. It was pretty good.”

“But if you think I was ever going to jeopardize my — anything for believing the narcissist in me was real? What a stupid thing to do. What kind of excesses does a man need that’s going to fuel that fire? It’s just not worth it.”

No doubt about it. She’s certainly not afraid to call me out on something, but she’s also there when I fall. And I’m there for her when she falls. No matter where I went in my career, the ups or the downs, we went there together.”

Days earlier, he also opened up about their marriage to the Independent while promoting his Hulu doc, “Thank you, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story.”

“These are all the wonderful clichés of rock stardom. It’s about never lying about having been a saint, but not being a fool enough to [mess] up the home life, either,” he said at the time.

  • Why Brandon Jennings’ Jayson Tatum tirade is everything wrong with NBA discourse

Why Brandon Jennings’ Jayson Tatum tirade is everything wrong with NBA discourse

Why Brandon Jennings’ Jayson Tatum tirade is everything wrong with NBA discourse

Brandon Jennings’ recent rant about Jayson Tatum shows that NBA discourse often lacks nuance.

Celtics' Jayson Tatum looking serious next to an angry/upset Brandon JenningsBoston Celtics star Jayson Tatum boasts a resume that speaks for itself. He’s now an NBA champion and a five-time All-Star, with a sixth selection likely on the way. And yet, former Milwaukee Bucks scorer Brandon Jennings wants more from him.

While discussing the three-time All-NBA First Teamer, Jennings argued that Tatum is “soft” and not as intimidating as reigning NBA Finals MVP Jaylen Brown and other Celtics legends, via the “Gil’s Arena” podcast.

“Is he the softest Boston Celtics superstar ever?” Jennings inquired. “What do we know about Boston Celtics players? Like anybody that put on a Boston Celtics jersey from the 80s on up. They what? They cutthroat, right?”

“If you’re so tough, why you didn’t get Finals MVP last year?” he continued. “Why you let your running mate do it? If you so tough. If you so all this. Why you didn’t get it?”

BJ: “Is [Jayson Tatum] the softest Boston Celtics superstar ever?” Gil: “Whoever saying he’s soft… that’s a soft ass 28ppg he’s averaging. Go on out there and get your head bust!” Brandon Jennings gets the Arena to crash out over his Jayson Tatum take

Former NBA journeyman Nick Young shared Jennings’ opinion and added fuel to the fire.

“He sit back too much and let people talk about him,” Young said of Jayson Tatum. “That ain’t being professional, that’s being soft sometimes.”

These comments quickly went viral on social media, as the joint rant about Tatum racked up 1.2 million views (and counting) on X.

What does this Jayson Tatum conversation reveal about how the modern NBA is discussed?

Incendiary words generating clicks is nothing new in the basketball world. However, Jennings’ words serve as a solid example of everything that’s wrong with NBA discourse.

Instead of being content with today’s league, which features players who are more skilled and exciting than ever, talking heads complain and find the need to constantly compare. Jayson Tatum can’t just succeed in the modern era, he needs to be juxtaposed with past greats and even Brown, a trusted Celtics teammate he’s shared the court with for nearly a decade.

The easy thing to do is to critique the messengers and use their own shortcomings to block out what they’re saying. Jennings and Young were solid in the Association, yet neither was ever an All-Star. In fact, neither California native averaged over 20 points per game in a season—and they played a combined 22 seasons. Meanwhile, Tatum has averaged over 23 points per outing in his last five seasons with the Celtics and looks primed to do it again (and potentially crack 30 points per game for the second time in his career).

Regardless of accolades, everybody is entitled to an opinion, especially in the era of social media. Unfortunately, social media has arguably impacted NBA discourse for the worse. It’s become an online shouting contest and the loudest, and sometimes most obnoxious, voices prevail.

Some fans and media personalities are spoiled, expecting obvious excitement all the time and failing to appreciate greatness unless it’s at the top of their feeds or in prime time. In a noisy world, people can overlook excellence if it’s not flashy and in their face.

What Jennings, Young, and plenty of others fail to understand is that Tatum’s brilliance is often understated, and that’s not a bad thing. Of course, the Celtics first-round draft pick can be showy with a smooth crossover or a tough fadeaway bucket, yet he also excels at the little things. Whether he’s breaking down defenses by making the right pass or soaring for rebounds, Tatum has shown that he does the unglamorous work in basketball just as well as the heralded activities.

Because social media prioritizes flamboyance and flash, these underrated (yet vital) parts of the game are forgotten. Jennings’ initial tirade glosses over the nuances of winning basketball and only focuses on scoring and taking over a contest with no help from others—as if that’s the only way to dominate.

Told Tatum about the numbers that show #Celtics have fared better when his usage goes up: “It’s not constructed for me to dominate the ball or the game night in and night out … that’s not the way we play.” He did say there are exceptions to that:

To make matters even worse, Jennings isn’t the only guilty party. NBA coverage on the whole does this. Pointing out obvious greatness is easy, so media personalities and producers get lazy and solely focus on that. As fun as TNT’s Inside the NBA is, the crew falls victim to talking about the same players and complaining about the on-court product if it’s not “entertaining” enough.

Did Kenny just show a highlight of Pritchard making 3 as a negative for Tatum because he didn’t drive instead? Is that what I just saw?

Plus, nobody can be satisfied with what they just saw—every current star needs a comparison to a different player and something is exciting until the next best thing comes along minutes later. Part of that is due to social media and how fast the news cycle moves. Another part of it is laziness and people wanting everything and everybody to be over-the-top and pointed out to them rather than subtle.

In a sport increasingly reliant on social media, fans and former players like Jennings and Young can’t seem to appreciate greatness unless it’s hitting them over the head. Moreover, Tatum’s calmness is mistaken for weakness and being “soft,” even though there’s nothing soft about being a defending champ.

NBA discourse needs some more nuance, and while the majority often lacks it, there are some sources out there still breaking down the game the way it deserves. You just have to go out and find them.

Jayson Tatum has proven to be one of the best NBA players of all time.

That said, former Milwaukee Bucks star Brandon Jennings recently made viral comments about Tatum (via Gil’s Arena).

Tatum then made a post to Instagram with a response to the comments.

His post had over 270,000 likes in 14 hours.

Tatum captioned his post: ““SoFtesT SuPeRstar in CeLtiC HiStoRy” 😅”

Former NBA players (including Jennings) commented on Tatum’s viral post.

    Blake Griffin: “😤😤😤”

    Quentin Richardson: “🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥”

    Kent Bazemore: “🏀⚡️”

Brandon Jennings: “This the energy I want!!!!

    Carti dropping soon!!! 🧛🏾‍♂️🦴😈”

Tatum is currently in the middle of another excellent season with averages of 28.1 points, 9.2 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 46.3% from the field and 36.2% from the three-point range in 34 games.

The Celtics most recently beat Russell Westbrook and the Denver Nuggets (on the road) by a score of 118-106.

The Celtics are the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 27-10 record in 37 games.

They have gone 6-4 over their last ten.

Following the Nuggets, the Celtics will play their next game on Friday night when they host the Sacramento Kings.
