“I Almost Died in the First Half”: Nikola Joki’s Funny Confession About Battling Illness on the Court!”

Nikola Jokic recorded a triple-double in his return but also made an amusing statement about his health during the game.

“First half I almost died,” Nikola Jokic makes hilarious admission about playing with illness

Nikola Jokic made a hilarious statement after his triple-double performance.

Three-time MVP is not the only crown Nikola Jokic wears in the NBA. The Denver Nuggets center is also widely known and loved for his interesting thoughts on the game and his effortless sense of humor. With his dominating performances, Jokic’s witty responses are also making a comeback in the league.

After missing two games due to illness, Nikola Jokic graced the stat sheet with another triple-double. Fans were hyped to see the star return in his usual form against the Brooklyn Nets. However, to add the icing on the cake, the Joker even made a hilarious statement at the press conference about his performance.

Second half much better than first half. First half I almost died.

    Nikola Jokic said

Honesty was written all over the Joker’s face but the statement is more amusing considering his outing. Despite complaining about his health, Jokic started off strong as he scored 14 points in the first quarter alone. By the end of the first half, Jokic reached 20 points and was already midway for a triple-double.

Making such a statement after playing like the best player in the league is something only Jokic is capable of doing. But the team is certainly grateful for his return as Denver won big against the Nets. Now, fans will also get to see more of the Jokic-Westbrook duo.

Nikola Jokic is not moved by triple-double stats with Russell Westbrook

Along with his sense of humor, Jokic is also famous for his ‘not bothered’ attitude. It is difficult to get an exciting reaction from the star after unreal performances or even championship wins. Nothing has changed, as Jokic also admitted not focusing on the historic two triple-doubles with Westbrook.

In the press conference, with his health, the media also asked Jokic about his incredible outing with Brodie. However, it was just another day for Jokic as he simply stated that the triple-doubles were a usual way for the duo to do their jobs. The Joker was more delighted by the win than the stats.

That’s the style how both of us play. It just happened to be like that. I’m just glad that we’re winning the games because that’s more important than putting the stats.

    Nikola Jokic added

In Jokic’s defense, he also admitted that the relationship with Russ is ‘special’. The former champion had high praise for Westbrook and acknowledged that he is also learning from the fellow MVP. It seems that the duo will proceed to showcase historical feats in the future.

“Jayson Tatum Fires Back at Brandon Jennings’ ‘Softest Superstar in NBA’ Diss. A Savage Response That Shuts Down the Criticism!”

Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum finally revealed his thoughts over Brandon Jennings’ soft remarks against him.

Jayson Tatum explains trolling ‘softest superstar in NBA’ diss from Brandon Jennings

Jayson Tatum revealed the story post directed towards Brandon Jennings

The path toward appreciation and respect has always remained slightly harder for Jayson Tatum. Despite winning the championship and being in the MVP conversations, criticism never fails to make its way to the Boston Celtics’ forward. Hence, it was not surprising when former player Brandon Jennings called Tatum the ‘Softest superstar.’

However, the unanticipated factor was Jayson Tatum‘s response. The star mocked the statement by putting it as a caption for his highlights post on Instagram. Now, Tatum has finally revealed the story behind it during the press conference after the matchup against the Sacramento Kings. Tatum admitted that he does not hold any grudges towards Jennings.

I wasn’t mad. I just had some time, that’s it… It comes with being one of the best players in the league. The more you accomplish, the more it gives people the opportunity to nitpick.

Jayson Tatum told Celtics Beat reporter Daniel Donabedian

    YouTube video

The Celtics’ main man does not usually comment on the criticisms. Regardless of the taunting post, Tatum returned to his truest form that the fans are familiar with. The star gave a mature response and acknowledged that such remarks about established players are not new to the NBA.

While saying that, Tatum also subtly admitted that he is currently amongst the best in the game. Perhaps, this is the type of reaction Jennings looked for when he made the statement. The former point guard even commented on Tatum’s post saying “This is the energy I want!!” It is safe to say that Jennings was impressed by Tatum’s witty comeback.

Celtics HC Joe Mazzulla subtly took a jibe at Brandon Jennings

Jayson Tatum clarified that he was not bothered by Jennings’ statement, but his coach seemed to disagree. Joe Mazzulla is known for his tough, game-winning mindset that frequently manages to raise some eyebrows in the league. The coach never fails to have his players’ back, which is exactly what happened this time as well.

Ahead of the game against the Kings, Mazzulla was asked about his thoughts on Jennings’s opinion. Mazzulla unhesitatingly shared his insight on retired players commenting on the younger generation’s performance. The HC subtly reminded Jennings of his not-so-impressive career as he was making a statement about others.

Sometimes the older you get, the better you were as a player. You forget, like – and that’s everybody, people say that. So, if we all just kind of remembered what we were then we probably wouldn’t have so many opinions of other people.

    Joe Mazzulla told the reporters

While saying that Mazzulla also stated that the players should not believe in all the praise and the criticism. The coach came to Tatum’s defense but also showed that he was helping his players understand where to focus. Tatum’s response may have been a result of Mazzulla’s guidance.

Quincy Jones had seven children – this is them now

Quincy Jones passed away at the age of 91 years old, leaving behind his iconic legacy as well as seven children. The celebrated producer welcomed seven children with five different women.

Có thể là hình ảnh về 2 người, trẻ em và văn bản

Jones had never been shy of talking about his children and boasting about how special they were. He was deeply proud of all of them and their talent. The producer had been married three times and had been involved with several women throughout his life, once addressing it all in an interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Oprah commented on the perception of how Jones only seemed to date white women, to which the singer famously replied, “I have been with every kind of woman of every nationality,” adding that he wouldn’t limit himself based on race or location.

While Jones had not married every woman he welcomed a child with, he made sure to be a present father in the lives of all his children. In a Father’s Day post in June 2018, he wrote about how he had experienced so much joy with his responsibility of being a dad.

“Never underestimate your role in your kid’s lives…I learned that a bit later in my life, but I’m so glad I finally figured it out because being a father is hands down one of the greatest blessings!!” he wrote.

The famed producer also kept his father’s words close, his father had said, “once a task has just begun, never leave it ’til it’s done, be the labor great or small, do it well or not at all.”

Reflecting on his father’s strength in supporting the family through the hardships of the Great Depression, the veteran star noted the beauty in looking back on old photographs, saying they reminded him of his parent’s unwavering love and commitment.

Quincy was never shy to express his appreciation for his family one saying, “I’m so grateful for my daughters because they aren’t scared to stand up to their daddy. I am an imperfect human & I’m not afraid to say it.”

    Quincy Jone’s seven biological children

Quincy’s eldest child is his daughter Jolie Jones who was born on October 4, 1953. Jones welcomed Jolie with his first wife, who was his high-school sweetheart Jeri Caldwell. The couple married in 1956 and divorced a decade later in 1966. Jolie is a health advocate and herself struggles with Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity (EHS), which she has described as a “debilitating” condition on her website. She wants to create more awareness about the issue and “the responsibility to open up a dialog” by bringing attention to the condition.

The second child Jones’ welcomed was Rachel Jones. He welcomed Rachel on July 23, 1963, following a brief affair with her mom, dancer Carol Reynolds.

A few years ago he wrote a touching birthday tribute to his daughter Rachel sharing a picture of the two of them with the caption, “Happy Happy Birthday to my sweet daughter Rachel @drmarinavet <3 !!! Thank U for your love & light…We all know this world needs more of it!” Rachel is a mother herself now and works as a veterinarian.

Quincy Jones welcomed his third child, Martina Jones on November 1, 1966. He welcomed Martina with his wife, Swedish model Ulla Andersson, whom he married on November 1, 1966.

The couple separated in 1974 and Martina moved to Sweden with her mother. She began to pursue a career in modelling and now works as a photographer. While she shares images from her life on social media, she tends to keep her private life quite private.

Quincy Jone’s only son, Quincy Jones III, born on December 23, 1968. The younger Jones’ followed his father’s footsteps as a musician, and became a rapper and producer. He worked with major artists like Tupac and Ice Cube among others. He also scored sountracks for films including ‘Menace II Society‘ and ‘Office Space.’

Quincy Jones III’s work in TV earned him as ASCEP award for ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air‘ and an Emmy nomination for ‘The PJs.’ At 55 years old, apart from his professional accolades, he is also a father to a daughter.

How many kids did Quincy Jones have with Peggy Lipton?

Peggy Lipton and Quincy Jones had two children together. She was Jones’s third wife. The older one of the two is Kidada Jones, who was born on March 22, 1974. She grew up in Bel Air, among celebrities but personally struggled with her identity due to her biracial heritage. She was expelled from several schools due to being unable to fit in.

After her mother passed away. Quincy was heartbroken and described the late woman as his ‘beloved’ wife and mother of his ‘incredibly daughters.’ On their part, the two girls encouraged donations to Seasons Hospice in honor of their mother’s memory.

Quincy’s second daughter with Lipton was Rashida Jones. She might arguably the most popular of all of his children. Born February 25, 1976, Jones is known for her roles in shows like “The Office,” “Parks and Recreation,” and “Angie Tribeca,” and more.

She also co-wrote and produced “Toy Story 4.” She directed a Grammy-winning documentary about her father titled ‘Quincy.’ In her personal life, she became a mother to a son with musician Ezra Koenig in September 2018

After Lipton, Quincy met German actress and model Nastassja Kinski. The couple welcomed Quincy’s youngest child, a daughter named Kenya-Kinski Jones on February 9, 1993

Kenya worked in the modeling industry. All of Quincy’s six daughters were precious to him. In March 2018, he posted a sweet tribute to his six daughters, saying they were “brilliant, kind, creative, & perseverant.”

The titan of the music industry passed away on November 3, 2024 at the age of 91 years old. According to a statement from his publicist, Arnold Robinson, he passed away peacefully at his Bel Air home, as he was surrounded by family.

His family released a heartfelt statement on the occasion of his passing which read, “Tonight, with full but broken hearts, we must share the news of our father and brother Quincy Jones’ passing. And although this is an incredible loss for our family, we celebrate the great life that he lived and know there will never be another like him.”

  • Jayson Tatum is the third player to reach 1,000 points this season, following Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokic.

Jayson Tatum is the third player to reach 1,000 points this season, following Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokic.

Jayson Tatum is the third player to reach 1,000 points this season, following Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokic.

Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum has solidified his place among the NBA’s elite once again, becoming the third player this season to reach the 1,000-point milestone. Joining the ranks of Oklahoma City Thunder’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Denver Nuggets’ Nikola Jokić, Tatum’s achievement underscores not only his consistency but also his growing influence in a league brimming with talent.

Có thể là hình ảnh về bóng rổ, áo bóng rổ, đám đông và văn bản

At just 25 years old, Tatum has continued to elevate his game year after year. This latest milestone is a testament to his scoring prowess, work ethic, and ability to perform under pressure. Tatum’s ability to reach 1,000 points so early in the season reflects both his durability and his role as the Celtics’ offensive anchor. As the team’s primary scorer, Tatum’s contributions have been instrumental in Boston’s strong start to the season, keeping them firmly in contention for the Eastern Conference crown.

What sets Tatum apart from many of his peers is his scoring versatility. He has a rare combination of size, skill, and footwork that allows him to dominate opponents in a variety of ways. Whether it’s pulling up for a smooth mid-range jumper, attacking the rim with finesse, or draining clutch three-pointers, Tatum’s scoring arsenal is as deep as it is deadly. His ability to adapt to different defensive schemes makes him one of the most unguardable players in the league today.

Tatum’s 1,000-point achievement also places him in elite company. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who has been having a breakout season for the Thunder, and reigning MVP Nikola Jokić, the centerpiece of the Nuggets’ offense, are both playing at an MVP-caliber level this season. For Tatum to keep pace with these two players—one a rising superstar and the other an established NBA legend—speaks volumes about his own capabilities and aspirations.

This accomplishment comes as no surprise to those who have followed Tatum’s career trajectory. Drafted third overall by the Celtics in 2017, Tatum has been a cornerstone of the franchise’s rebuild and resurgence. From his rookie season, where he helped lead Boston to the Eastern Conference Finals, to his current role as the team’s undisputed leader, Tatum’s growth has been a joy to watch for Celtics fans. Each year, he has added new dimensions to his game, evolving into one of the most complete players in the league.

Beyond the numbers, Tatum’s leadership has also been on full display this season. With the addition of Kristaps Porziņģis and Jrue Holiday to the roster, the Celtics’ dynamic has shifted. Yet, Tatum has embraced the challenge of integrating new talent while maintaining his dominance. His unselfish play and ability to step up in key moments have earned him respect not only from his teammates but from opponents across the league.

However, reaching this milestone is not just about individual accolades for Tatum. He has repeatedly emphasized his desire to bring a championship back to Boston, a city with a storied basketball history. For Tatum, personal achievements are secondary to team success, and his focus remains on helping the Celtics hoist the Larry O’Brien Trophy. This mindset has endeared him to the Celtics’ faithful, who see in Tatum a player capable of carrying the franchise’s rich legacy forward.

The road to 1,000 points has not been without its challenges. Tatum has faced tough defenses night in and night out, with opposing teams often designing their game plans specifically to limit his impact. Despite this, Tatum has found ways to excel, showcasing his resilience and mental toughness. His ability to remain effective even when defenses throw double teams and traps at him is a hallmark of his greatness.

Looking ahead, Tatum’s journey is far from over. With the Celtics aiming for a deep playoff run, Tatum’s scoring ability will be crucial. While the regular season milestones are impressive, it’s in the postseason where legends are truly made. Tatum is no stranger to playoff heroics, having already delivered some iconic performances in his young career. This season, he appears more determined than ever to add a championship to his growing list of accomplishments.

The significance of Tatum’s 1,000-point milestone also extends beyond individual recognition. It’s a reflection of the Celtics’ success as a team. With a roster built around Tatum’s talents, Boston has established itself as one of the league’s premier teams. The chemistry between Tatum and his teammates, particularly fellow All-Star Jaylen Brown, has been a key factor in the team’s strong performance this season.

As Tatum continues to make his case for MVP consideration, milestones like these serve as a reminder of his impact on the game. He’s not just a scorer; he’s a leader, a playmaker, and an all-around force who can change the outcome of any game. With Tatum at the helm, the Celtics are poised to remain a powerhouse in the NBA for years to come.

In the grand scheme of things, Jayson Tatum’s 1,000-point milestone is just one chapter in what promises to be a storied career. But for now, it’s a moment worth celebrating—for Tatum, for the Celtics, and for the fans who have supported him every step of the way. As the season progresses, one thing is clear: Jayson Tatum is not just keeping pace with the NBA’s best—he’s carving out his own path to greatness.

Jon Bon Jovi has recently purchased a new mansion in Palm Beach, and pictures show a jaw-dropping estate that’s almost hard to believe.

The New Jersey-born Bon Jovi frontman and occasional country singer recently sold an oceanfront Palm Beach mansion that he renovated for nearly $20 million, according to Realtor.com, and he turned right around and bought an even more lavish property right down the road for $43 million that is almost the physical embodiment of the word “opulent.”

Bon Jovi’s 7-bedroom, 12-bathroom, 10,232-square-foot estate in Palm Beach was built in 2007, and it comes in at a staggering $4203 per square foot. Designed by famed architect Thomas Kirchhoff with interiors by David Kleinberg, that kind of price tag includes all highest-end finishes, marble and hardwood floors and cypress coffered ceiling details, with intricate millwork throughout the house.

The mansion also offers 5 powder rooms, a formal dining room with views of the ocean and courtyard, an exercise room, a temperature-controlled wine cellar, elevators and a 3-car air-conditioned garage. There’s also a large living room and a casual dining area.

The exterior of the property is just as lavish, boasting two oceanfront loggias, as well as a courtyard pool and cabana. The entire property provides direct access to and sweeping views of the beach and ocean.

Realtor.com reports that Bon Jovi is still trying to find a buyer for his 18,000-square-foot, French-inspired chateau in Middletown, N.J., which he first listed in 2017.

Liam Gallagher’s Decade-Long Harassment of Jon Bon Jovi: A Tale of Pranks, Insults, and Unlikely Offers

This unexpected feud between two of the biggest rock stars of the ’90s and 2000s sheds light on a unique chapter of rock ‘n’ roll history, showcasing Gallagher’s notorious sense of humor and Bon Jovi’s ability to endure relentless teasing with remarkable patience. From late-night phone calls to colorful insults, this story is as outrageous as it is entertaining.

    The Unlikely Harassment

It all started when Gallagher somehow managed to get Bon Jovi’s personal phone number. According to Bon Jovi, Gallagher began calling him late at night, often at around 3 or 4 in the morning. What followed was a series of bizarre and repetitive phone calls that disrupted the “Livin’ on a Prayer” singer’s sleep — not to mention his peace of mind.

In a recent interview, Bon Jovi reflected on the harassment, explaining that Gallagher would ring him up simply to insult his music. “Liam Gallagher was giving me nuisance phone calls for over a decade,” Bon Jovi revealed. “God knows how he got my number.” The calls weren’t just random or short; they were full of biting comments, with Gallagher telling Bon Jovi that his music was “shit.”

The “Bastard Son of Richard Branson”

However, the insults didn’t stop there. According to Bon Jovi, Gallagher would often call him names, including the rather colorful phrase “the bastard son of Richard Branson.” This insult referenced the Virgin founder’s wealth and high-profile public image, but it was undoubtedly one of Gallagher’s more creative jabs. Given that Bon Jovi had earned fame and fortune as the frontman of one of the biggest rock bands in the world, Gallagher’s targeting of him felt like an attempt to poke fun at the image Bon Jovi had carefully cultivated for years.

These late-night tirades weren’t just limited to insults either. Gallagher would occasionally shout “Lionhead” into the phone, a nickname that baffled Bon Jovi and became yet another point of confusion and frustration during these nightly interruptions. “Sometimes he would call me the bastard son of Richard Branson, and other times he would shout ‘Lionhead’ down the phone until I hung up,” Bon Jovi recalled. For Bon Jovi, it seemed that these phone calls became less of a prank and more of a persistent nuisance.

    A Desperate Plea for Peace

After years of enduring these late-night calls and outlandish taunts, Bon Jovi eventually found himself at his wit’s end. In an attempt to end the torment once and for all, the rock icon offered Gallagher a staggering sum of money to stop the phone calls. “In the end, I offered to pay him $500,000 and begged him to stop,” Bon Jovi admitted. However, Gallagher’s response was typically blunt, even for someone known for their sharp tongue.

The money wasn’t enough to sway Gallagher, who was apparently enjoying himself far too much. In his trademark fashion, he simply told Bon Jovi to “Eat shit,” rejecting the offer with little consideration. “He told me to ‘Eat shit,’” Bon Jovi said, clearly amused by the sheer audacity of Gallagher’s response.

This exchange between the two rock stars encapsulates their rivalry in a way that’s equal parts comedic and absurd. While the offer of $500,000 seems like an extraordinary attempt to resolve a situation that had clearly gotten out of hand, Gallagher’s response shows the kind of defiance and rebellious spirit that has always defined him.

    The Legacy of the Feud

The history of rock music is filled with legendary rivalries, but few are as humorous and lighthearted as the feud between Jon Bon Jovi and Liam Gallagher. While their relationship was, at times, a source of irritation for Bon Jovi, it also highlights the playful and often over-the-top nature of rock star culture. In many ways, Gallagher’s pranks were an extension of his public persona: brash, unapologetic, and always ready to stir the pot. For Bon Jovi, the experience became an unlikely test of patience and composure — qualities that are perhaps just as valuable as musical talent in the cutthroat world of rock ‘n’ roll.

Despite the frustration that came with those early morning phone calls, it’s clear that both Bon Jovi and Gallagher have a certain level of respect for one another. After all, this unusual story has become part of rock folklore, and both musicians have continued to enjoy long and successful careers.

In a world where celebrity feuds are often fueled by ego and bitterness, the back-and-forth between Bon Jovi and Gallagher stands out as an example of a rivalry that was more comical than serious. It was an example of how, even in the competitive world of music, humor and absurdity can play a major role in shaping the relationships between some of the industry’s biggest stars.

Conclusion: A Rock ‘n’ Roll Legend

While this story might be one of the more bizarre anecdotes in the history of rock ‘n’ roll, it’s also a testament to the unpredictable nature of celebrity life. Liam Gallagher’s pranks may have been a nuisance to Jon Bon Jovi, but they’ve also given fans a glimpse into the playful side of two of rock’s most enduring figures. Whether through annoyance or amusement, these interactions helped create a unique piece of rock mythology — one that both musicians can surely laugh about now.

The Jon Bon Jovi-Liam Gallagher prank saga may be over, but it remains a reminder of the colorful personalities that make the music industry so fascinating. For Bon Jovi, the story will likely always be a reminder of just how far some rock stars will go to get a laugh, even if it means tormenting their fellow musicians in the process.

Sam Moore, one half of the 1960s duo Sam & Dave, has died. He was 89.

According to Moore’s rep, the late singer – best known for hits such as “Soul Man” and “Hold On, I’m Comin,’” – died Friday morning in Coral Gables, Florida, due to complications while recovering from surgery.

His singing partner Dave Prater died in a car accident in 1988.

The soul and R&B duo performed together for nearly two decades starting in the early 1960s. Best known for their high energy and gospel-infused performances, the duo became an influence for a number of artists including Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen and more.

In the 1980s, the Blues Brothers – comedians Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi – put soul and blues back on the map after covering Sam & Dave’s “Soul Man” on ‘Saturday Night Live’. They often paid homage to Sam & Dave during their act as well.

Moore was born Oct. 12, 1935, in Miami, Florida and kickstarted his singing career in church.

Moore battled a drug addiction in the 1970s.

He and Prater performed in soul and R&B clubs in the 1950s, but didn’t meet until 1961 in Miami, according to the Associated Press.

The duo had a contentious relationship towards the end of their run. Moore sued Prater after Prater began touring with a new bandmate as the New Sam & Dave, according to the AP.

Sam & Dave began their run in the 1960s.

Moore battled a drug addiction throughout the 1970s, which eventually impacted his career. His wife, Joyce, helped him get treatment for his addiction. After finding sobriety, Moore started taking jobs he never anticipated.

“I did a lot of cruise ships, I did a lot of oldies shows,” he once told the AP.

“That’s funny to think back to it now. And I did a lot of shows where if I did a show with an oldie show, I had to actually audition,” he said. “But you know what? You keep your mouth shut and you get up there and you sing as hard and perform as hard as you can, and get the little money and go on about your business and try and pay those bills. I’m laughing about it now, but at that time, man, it was really serious.”

Moore is survived by his wife, Joyce, daughter, Michell, and two grandchildren.

The Golden Globes are getting the Queer Eye treatment. That’s because Jonathan Van Ness, the grooming expert of Netflix’s hit reality TV show, hit the red carpet at the 2025 event.

Van Ness is no stranger to a bold red carpet look, but he turned heads this year in a satin dark green off-the-shoulder gown. The Christian Siriano design is accented by a ruffle over one arm and cascades down into a floor-length train. And of course Van Ness is rocking his signature long brunette locks as well.

Van Ness, who identifies as non-binary, frequently wears dresses on the red carpet and has clapped back against hateful comments about “the guy in the dress” in the past calling them “transphobic.” At the 2025 Golden Globes, Van Ness seems unbothered, choosing to accessorize the gown with only a few rings and no necklace.
