A Philadelphia Eagles fan who spewed crude insults at a woman rooting for the visiting Green Bay Packers during Sunday’s wild-card playoff game lost his job this week at a New Jersey company that specializes in D.E.I. work because of his conduct, which was caught on a viral video.

The fan, whose name was not released by his former employer, BCT Partners, was also barred from future events at Lincoln Financial Field, the home stadium of the Eagles, a person briefed on the matter told The New York Times.

Eagles Ban Fan Who Hurled Vile Insults at Female Packers Fan During Playoff Game

In the video, which was shared online early Monday by the woman’s fiancé and viewed more than 31 million times on X, the fan repeatedly called her a vulgar name and cursed at her during the Eagles’ opening-round 22-10 victory in the playoffs. The man was sitting in the upper deck, one row behind the couple, who were both wearing Packers jerseys and live outside Philadelphia.

The woman’s fiancé, Alexander Basara, a podcaster who focuses on the Packers, asked internet sleuths to help him to identify the man.

The Philadelphia Eagles and Lincoln Financial Field have issued a lifetime ban for a male fan whose foul outburst at their playoff game against the Green Bay Packers was caught on video, PEOPLE can confirm.

Footage of the incident first hit the internet after the Eagles defeated the Packers 22-10 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Sunday, Jan. 12.

Alexander Basara, a Green Bay Packers content creator, posted footage of the male Eagles fan heckling Basara’s fiancée, who was cheering for the Packers and wearing the road team’s merchandise.

“What it’s like going to Philly just trying to root for your team,” Basara wrote in his post accompanying the video on X. “Unprovoked, uncalled for. Packers twitter, help me out and find this guy…. this is not okay. I hate that my fiancé had this happen simply cheering for her team.”

Basara’s video clearly shows the man leaning into the row in front of him to taunt Basara’s fiancée about a Packers play and calling her derogatory names as the game went on.

Basara attempts to step in, telling the man to stop calling his fiancée names, as the Eagles fan continues to insult her, saying, “She’s an ugly, dumb c—.”

A day later, NFL reporter Derrick Gunn shared on X that the Eagles will bar the man from Lincoln Financial Field. “The guy will be banned from future Eagles games,” Gunn posted on Monday, Jan. 13, adding that the Eagles are planning to send Basara’s fiancée some Packers gear “as an apology.”

Many uses praised Basara for how he handled the incident. “Respect to you, Alexander. If that were my wife, I’d probably be leaving in handcuffs,” one account wrote in reply to the video.

“Switching seats with her might’ve been a smart move too, but hats off to you for keeping your cool under the circumstances.”

Others questioned why Basara was “allowing” the man to behave that way. In response to one comment, Basara explained that the man was attending the game with two other men, and Basara worried they would get to aggressive. “Plus all eagles fans would see is me getting physical with an old man and jump me,” Basara said.

Caldwell apologized on Wednesday, Jan. 15 in a statement shared with PEOPLE, saying, “While attending an NFL game last Sunday to support my beloved Philadelphia Eagles, an incident occurred that I deeply regret. What began as banter with two Packers fans sitting near me escalated to something more serious, and I said things that were unacceptable. In the heat of the moment, I chose unforgiving words to address one of the fans, Ms. Ally Keller.”

Caldwell added he wants to “sincerely apologize” to Keller and claimed that the video “does not reflect the full context of what transpired.”

PGA star Tiger Woods and award-winning singer Justin Timberlake are teaming up for a big business expenditure overseas.

According to a report from Jessica Lynch of Billboard, Tiger Woods and Justin Timberlake are in the stages of opening up another T-Squared Social sports bar location over in St. Andrews, Scotland.

Woods and Timberlake recently opened up a T-Squared Social bar in New York City, featuring entertainment and recreational activities including indoor golf simulators. Here’s what Lynch’s report stated:

“Following the success of their New York City flagship, Timberlake and Woods’ latest upscale sports bar project will feature state-of-the-art sports simulators, duckpin bowling and darts while also preserving two original cinema screens – a nod to the venue’s rich history.

Fife Council has given the project the green light, praising its potential to revitalize the area. The renovation is expected to create 40 to 45 new jobs, providing a significant boost to the local economy. According to the documents, the plans will allow locals to “experience a broader range of cinema, dining and entertainment” and will be “crucial in helping to secure a cinema offering going forward.”

The 2024 Open Championship will be held from July 18-21 at the Royal Troon Golf Club in Troon, South Ayrshire, Scotland. Woods has won The Open thrice (2000, 2005 and 2006), and a victory would make him the 11th golfer to win the tournament at least four times.

Bon Jovi Rocks Hyde Park: A Legendary Performance of “Livin’ on a Prayer” at Hard Rock Calling 2011

The summer of 2011 brought with it an unforgettable moment in rock history when Bon Jovi took the stage at the Hard Rock Calling music festival in Hyde Park, London, England. On June 25th, the iconic band delivered a powerhouse performance that still resonates with fans worldwide, with their timeless anthem “Livin’ on a Prayer” as the undeniable highlight of the evening. This wasn’t just another live concert—it was a celebration of rock ‘n’ roll’s ability to unite, inspire, and electrify a massive crowd.

Hyde Park, one of London’s most iconic venues, has played host to countless legendary performances over the decades. Hard Rock Calling, known for attracting some of the biggest names in music, was the perfect backdrop for Bon Jovi’s explosive set. With its sprawling green lawns and historic charm, the park was transformed into a sea of music lovers ready to be swept away by one of the greatest rock bands of all time.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, anticipation crackled in the air. Fans, some of whom had camped out for hours to secure a spot close to the stage, were treated to a lineup of opening acts that set the tone for the night. But when Bon Jovi took the stage, the energy surged to a whole new level.

By the time the first notes of “Livin’ on a Prayer” rang out, the crowd’s excitement was palpable. The song, originally released in 1986 as part of the band’s landmark album Slippery When Wet, has since become a global anthem. Its themes of perseverance and hope, paired with its infectious melody, have solidified its place as one of the most iconic songs in rock history.

Jon Bon Jovi, clad in his signature leather jacket, commanded the stage with the charisma and energy that have defined his career. His voice, still powerful and emotive after decades in the industry, carried the song’s soaring chorus with ease.

The Hyde Park crowd, estimated to be in the tens of thousands, sang along with every word. The moment Jon pointed his microphone to the audience, inviting them to belt out the iconic “Woah-oh!” refrain, the park erupted in unison. It was more than a performance; it was a shared experience of collective joy and nostalgia.

No performance of “Livin’ on a Prayer” would be complete without Richie Sambora’s iconic guitar work. On that summer evening in London, Sambora delivered a masterclass in musicianship, his fingers flying effortlessly across the fretboard. The song’s signature talk-box intro, a hallmark of Sambora’s genius, sent waves of excitement through the crowd. His chemistry with Jon Bon Jovi was evident, with the two sharing smiles and moments of camaraderie that underscored their decades-long partnership.

One of the most remarkable aspects of Bon Jovi’s Hyde Park performance was its ability to bring people together. The crowd was a diverse mix of ages, nationalities, and backgrounds, all united by their love for music. For those few minutes, as the band performed their signature hit, differences melted away, replaced by a collective sense of joy and connection.

The song’s lyrics—telling the story of Tommy and Gina, two working-class dreamers struggling but refusing to give up—resonated deeply with the audience. It’s a story of resilience that transcends generations, and in that moment, it felt as though everyone in Hyde Park was living that story together.

Bon Jovi’s performance at Hard Rock Calling 2011 wasn’t just about nostalgia; it was a testament to the band’s enduring relevance and ability to evolve while staying true to their roots. Over the years, they’ve proven time and again why they remain one of the best-selling bands in history. Jason and Kylie Kelce are expecting their fourth child, having previously welcomed three girls. Like all pregnant couples, they’re trying to come up with the best name for their incoming bundle of joy.

Kylie, who is now just as popular as her husband, is running her own podcast named ‘Not Gonna Lie,’ where she has let fans and followers in on her life as a mother who’s on the verge of having another baby.

“Going on fourth, it’s like a disaster,” she admitted during a recent episode. “You’ve already used them all up. All bets are off.”

The couple’s three daughters are named Wyatt, Elliotte, and Bennett. It’s not like they’ve taken up all the names available; they’re not even close. However, they have narrowed it down to gender-neutral, which does limit their options.

“We’re doing a little crossover action,” she said. “I feel like we have to lean a little bit towards those sort of gender-neutral names for our fourth because we have Wyatt, Elliotte, Bennett. So, if we do a full commit to a girly name at this point, it would not sit well with the other three, I think. Eventually, they’ll be like, ‘Why did they get a cute girly name?’”

Jason And Kylie Kelce Had A Different Name In Mind For Wyatt

Kylie also revealed having come close to naming their first girl, Wyatt, something else. They were thinking of “Charlie” but decided against it because they had three friends who had kids with that name.

“It worked out. Wyatt is a Wyatt, but I love the name Charlie,” she noted.

Kylie also revealed that Wyatt is very excited to welcome another sister and is taking her role as the oldest sibling very seriously. She’s quite eager to help with the inbound newborn.

Bennett, however, didn’t seem all that happy. She was seen crying in a photo next to her sisters when the Kelces announced the pregnancy.

Patrick Mahomes is counting on his teammate Travis Kelce to help the Chiefs make it to their third consecutive Super Bowl.

Mahomes, 29, spoke to media at a press conference on Tuesday, Jan. 14 where the quarterback said he anticipates Kelce, 35, to “step up” when Kansas City hosts the Houston Texans on Jan. 18.

“The greats, they step up in the playoffs, and it’s just higher intensity,” said Mahomes, who welcomed his third child Golden Raye with wife Brittany Mahomes on Jan. 13.

He continued, “The best players and the best leaders step up and make the best plays, and he’s done that, so I expect the same from him going into this playoffs.”

When asked about the tight end’s mentality going into the playoffs — where the Chiefs are hoping to make NFL history as the league’s first-ever team to win three consecutive championships — Mahomes said he thinks Kelce “resonates with the entire team” and “gets everybody to play their best football.”

“And that’s what it takes in order to win championships,” Mahomes said of Kelce’s winning mentality.

The couple’s newest addition joins daughter Sterling Skye, 3, and son, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, 2.

Brittany and Patrick named their third child Golden Raye Mahomes.

Brittany Mahomes has given birth to her third child.

The wife of the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, revealed in an Instagram post that she gave birth to their daughter, Golden Raye Mahomes, on Sunday (January 12). The post only showed a photo of the baby’s feet along a sign with her name on it.
Patrick previously revealed that he would be able to attend the birth because the Chiefs have a bye week before the next divisional round on January 18 and 19.

“No one happier to get back to KC than Patrick Mahomes,” NFL reporter Tracy Wolfson wrote in a January 6 post on X. “He told me his wife Brittany is due to give birth to their 3rd child on Sunday.”

Wolfson added that if Brittany didn’t deliver by Sunday, she was scheduled to be induced on Monday (January 13). However, Brittany did end up giving birth on Sunday.

Patrick hinted at the baby’s expected arrival last month during his Netflix special, which coincided with the Chiefs’ game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day.
“Hopefully God works the right way, and we can have that baby maybe on the bye week somewhere, and then everything will work out perfectly,” he said.

The Boston Celtics’ star Jayson Tatum claimed the first-ever NBA Eastern Conference Finals MVP in 2022. However, he has yet to secure an NBA Finals MVP in his career. While Tatum helped lead the Celtics to a championship last season, his teammate Jaylen Brown earned the Finals MVP honors.

This has become a focal point for criticism, particularly from former NBA player Brandon Jennings. Jennings recently labeled Tatum as the “softest player in Celtics history” for not securing a Finals MVP.

During a Lakers-Spurs watch party on the Gil’s Arena Playback stream, a framed Jayson Tatum jersey hanging on the wall of streamer Legend Of Winning became the topic of conversation. Jennings seized the moment to reiterate his disdain for Tatum, insisting that the jersey should not be displayed until Tatum wins a Finals MVP.

“You need to take down that #0 jersey ‘til he gets a Final MVP. Go put that in a closet,” Jennings said.

NBA fans, however, were quick to come to Tatum’s defense. Many questioned Jennings’ authority to critique Tatum’s career. They pointed out that Jennings never achieved significant accolades during his time in the league to criticize Tatum this way.

Brandon Jennings Questions Jayson Tatum’s Place Among Celtics Greats

On the recent episode of the Gil’s Arena podcast, Brandon Jennings also shared his thoughts on the all-time top five Boston Celtics players. Unsurprisingly, Jennings excluded Jayson Tatum from his list.

We got Bill Russell, we got Paul Pierce, we got Kevin McHale, we got Larry Bird, and we got fu**** Kevin Garnett,” Jennings said.

Tatum did not remain quiet about Jennings’ earlier comment and answered his criticism in a post-game press conference and on social media. Fans are now waiting to see if Tatum will address this latest comment. Whether through words or actions on the court, Tatum has an opportunity to silence his critics.
