Grammys 2025 Worst Dressed List: The most controversial looks on the red carpet

The 2025 Grammy Awards have officially kicked off for the night – and although many Hollywood stars stunned on red carpet, others are having some major fashion fails.

The awards show, which is held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, will honor the year’s best in music.

This year is especially important, as the show will be raising additional funds to support wildfire relief efforts, as devastating wildfires ravaged the Los Angeles area last month.

The Grammys will be hosed by comedian Trevor Noah for a fifth year in a row, and feature A-list presenters like Taylor Swift, Cardi B, Olivia Rodrigo and SZA.

The star-studded night continues with performances by some of the best artists like Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter and Charli XCX, who are all nominated for multiple awards, such as Album of the Year.

As the most exciting awards show, we’re expecting some outrageous looks – follow along with the ones that didn’t hit the mark:

Leaving literally nothing to the imagination! Kanye West and wife Bianca Censori showed up to the Grammys red carpet in some super strange looks. Censori wore a totally sheer mini dress, with no undergarments, putting her assets on full display. Kanye stood next to her dressed in a plain black t-shirt and black pants

House of Horrors! Will and Jada Smith’s son, Jaden, 26, went for an interesting look on the red carpet, wearing an all-black, structured suit complete with an elaborate black hat shaped like a castle. He paired the look off with a pair of black sneakers with white detailing, black tie and white heart pinned onto the lapel of his jacket

This is the greatest show! Will Smith wore a black suit, which included a black jacket with big, silver buckles and buttons

Ex-wife alert! President Donald Trump’s second wife, and the mom of Tiffany Trump, Marla Maples, went for a purple, high-necked silk dress complete with a dark purple bow at the collar. The tailoring of the dress appeared to be ill-fitting and the fabric wrinkled as son as she stepped on the carpet

Missed the mark! Birds of a Feather hitmaker Billie Eilish wore a strange ensemble, complete with a black tie-top, tiny black hat and silver chain, channeling the early 2000’s

The layered, blue-and-gold Marie Antoinette-inspired frock that Chappell Roan showed up in was interesting, but the feathered headpiece left much to be desired. She paired the dress with teal-colored mesh gloves and a dramatic makeup look that matched her gown

Going to the chapel? Gracie Abrams wore a very bridal-esque, cream-colored dress, complete with a headscarf and train. She kept it simple with black heels and diamond jewelry

A surprising choice! Bad Romance singer Lady Gaga embraced her inner goth as she wore a black leather corset top with shoulder pads and a dramatic, oversized skirt. Her hair matched the look as she sported some micro bangs

Brat winter? Charli XCX wore a bland-colored, dove gray, ruffled dress complete with a tight corset and train. She completed the interesting look with a pair of gladiator-style black heels

Red-y or not! Canadian music producer Shaw Everett, who works with artists like Kacey Musgraves and The Killers, looked like he was ready to wash some dishes in a pair of red rubber gloves and an Adidas track dress

An insider said James had ‘grown frustrated’ with Anthony Davis

While most were sleeping, the Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Lakers pulled off a stunning blockbuster that led to Luka Dončić and Anthony Davis swapping teams.

The deal is perhaps one of the most star-studded ever, as it’s the first time in NBA history two reigning All-NBA players were traded midseason.

There are lots of questions that need to be answered, primarily on the Dallas side of things, as it’s shocking a team would trade a 25-year-old MVP candidate with global starpower fresh off an NBA Finals appearance.

However, one report from CBS Sports said LeBron James “had grown frustrated” with Davis, who is averaging over 25 points and a dozen rebounds while playing elite defense.

James’ Lakers defeated the Knicks shortly before the trade broke, but James has not spoken to reporters about the move yet (Davis was inactive), but James did see the report on X, and broke his silence matter of factly.

“You a [f—ing] lie,” James wrote on X, adding Pinocchio and clown emojis.

James is said to have found out about the trade shortly before the news broke on X while he was out to dinner with his family following L.A.’s victory. It’s being reported that the Mavs only reached out to the Lakers, and would only acquire Davis if it meant moving Dončić. Other than the organizations facilitating the trade, it’s said that no one else knew what was going on behind the scenes.

The Lakers received Dončić, Maxi Kleber and Markieff Morris, while the Mavericks took on Davis, Max Christie and Los Angeles’ 2029 first-round pick. To settle it all out, the Utah Jazz acquired Jalen Hood-Schifino and two second-round picks.

The Slovenian led the NBA with 33.4 points per game last season and won’t turn 26 until later this month. In his career, he averages 28.6 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 8.3 assists, putting himself in the MVP conversation every year of his young career.

Chiefs’ Travis Kelce sends three-word message of support to Eagles fans as Super Bowl matchup looms

Travis offered a “Go Birds,” but message of support failed to convince his brother Jason

Jason Kelce stepped away from football after the 2023 season. The former offensive lineman spent his entire standout career with the Philadelphia Eagles — the reigning NFC champions.

The Eagles will soon travel to New Orleans to continue preparations for Super Bowl LIX. The Kansas City Chiefs will meet the Eagles at the Caesars Superdome for the big game, creating a rematch of Super Bowl LVII. Jason and his younger brother Travis Kelce competed against each other in that game, with the Chiefs ultimately defeating the Eagles.

Travis was recently named to his tenth consecutive Pro Bowl, while Jason has settled into broadcasting during his first year of NFL retirement. The former Eagles center Kelce signed with ESPN last year and made routine appearances on “Monday Night Countdown” throughout the 2024 football season.

In November, Jason announced he would host “They Call It Late Night with Jason Kelce” starting in early Jan. 2025 and continuing through the NFL postseason. Travis made an appearance on the latest edition of the show and was asked to share a message for Philadelphia fans.

The Chiefs tight end appeared to shrug his shoulders before responding with “Go Birds, baby!” as the live studio audience inside Philadelphia’s concert hall Union Transfer applauded.

Jason quickly pointed to what he perceived as a disingenuous show of support from his brother. “You don’t mean that,” he said while laughing.

Travis then spoke about his appreciation for his brother before doubling down on his Eagles support.

“What do you mean? I’m a Jason Kelce fanatic, dude,” Travis continued. “I love that guy. I still got all the gang green from you guys’ Super Bowl and your run in Philly. I still got some Philly pride man. I’m wishing the best for those guys, but, you know, uhhh, go birds.”

“There’s absolutely no chance you mean that,” Jason concluded.

After starting the 2023 campaign with a 10-1 record, the Eagles went on to win just one of their final six games. Philadelphia subsequently suffered a 32-9 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the wild-card round.

Kelce announced his retirement shortly after the Eagles’ playoff exit. He ended his career with seven Pro Bowls and six First-team All-Pro selections.

The end of the 2024 regular season and the ongoing postseason have been more enjoyable for Philly. The Eagles were presented with the George Halas Trophy last Sunday after the team won the conference title and clinched a spot in the Super Bowl.

Caitlin Clark responds to critics ahead of Iowa jersey retirement: ‘I really don’t care’

Clark was the No. 1 pick of the WNBA Draft after a record-breaking college career

Caitlin Clark has become one of the most polarizing figures in all of sports over the last year-plus.

Her popularity reached a peak nearly two years ago when she and Angel Reese duked it out in the national championship – and then, she became a household name.

Clark set numerous records in her senior year, including becoming the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer, and parlayed it all into becoming the No. 1 overall pick.

But then came the culture wars that she found herself in the middle of, with many, including WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson, saying that her race played a role in her popularity.

Clark was the victim of some hard fouls and trash talk throughout her rookie season, but it didn’t seem to faze her, as she set plenty of records in Year One.

Clark returned to Iowa on Sunday to see her No. 22 go into the rafters, and she was asked about the criticism she’s received recently.

“I think it’s just life. Everybody goes through some of the things that I’ve gone through, a lot of people go through a lot worse. I just try to remind myself every single day how grateful I am to be in the position I am, I want to treat everyone the same way that I would want to be treated. It speaks to the way I was raised and my parents raised me. There’s gonna be good days, there’s gonna be bad days. But it’s just, you go with the flow. I think having a good circle around me, a small circle around me of people that I really trust that I can always count on and lean on is what’s been so important for me over this past year,” Clark told reporters on Sunday.

“But also, I’ve said this before, I feel like one of my greatest skills is I really don’t care. Like, I don’t. I don’t care. I believe in myself, I’m confident in myself, I’m confident in my teammates, I try to instill that in them, I’m confident in the coaching staff of whatever team I was on, whether that was [at Iowa], whether that’s at the Fever now. You just rely on those people. Nobody gets to step inside your locker room… Everybody thinks they know everything and have an answer, but that’s just not reality. That goes for all of professional sports, that goes for all of you as well and people in life.”

As Clark’s rookie season progressed, there were allegations of racism from both Fever and Iowa fans, a claim made by the aforementioned Reese.

But Clark’s appearances in games brought historic viewership to both the college and pro levels. The final three games of her college career were the most-watched women’s college basketball games ever. She also had several of her regular-season games draw more viewers than WNBA playoff games, and her WNBA matchups with Reese were some of the most-viewed WNBA games ever.

WNBA teams even had to move to larger arenas simply because of the ticket demand Clark drew; the Fever sold 90 times more tickets this past year than in 2023.

Clark was named the Rookie of the Year for her historic campaign during which she set the record for the most assists in one season in league history. She carried the Fever to a playoff appearance after a slow start, and she quickly became a double-double machine. She even set a single-game record with 19 assists. She also became the first rookie to record a triple-double, registering two of them.

She received the most votes for the All-Star Game and was just the fifth rookie in league history to make the All-WNBA first-team.

Beyoncé honors first responders in Grammys speech for album of the year win

Beyoncé topped Post Malone, Kacey Musgraves, Chris Stapleton and Lainey Wilson to win best country album Grammy

Beyoncé won album of the year at the Grammys for “Cowboy Carter,” marking her first-ever win in the category. The star brought daughter Blue Ivy on stage as she accepted the coveted honor.

“I’d like to thank and acknowledge and praise all the firefighters for keeping us safe,” she said during her speech, referencing the first responders who fought the LA fires in January. Some of the firefighters were on-hand Sunday night to take the Grammys stage, and announce the winner for album of the year.

Beyoncé’s husband, Jay-Z, cheered alongside Taylor Swift as Beyoncé laughed at the “many, many years” it took her to win the the gramophone. The day before, Beyoncé announced she was going on tour in support of the album.

She was up against Andre 3000, Sabrina Carpenter, Charli XCX, Jacob Collier, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan and Taylor Swift for album of the year.

Hours earlier, the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer earned the country album Grammy award for her latest collection. Bey, as she’s known to her fans, beat out Post Malone, Kacey Musgraves, Chris Stapleton and Lainey Wilson to win the best country album award.

“I was not expecting this. I want to thank God – oh my God – that I’m able to still do what I still love after so many years,” she said after receiving the best country album award from Taylor.

“I think sometimes genre is a code word to keep us in our place as artists and I just want to encourage people to do what their passionate about. Stay persistent.”

She added, “I’d like to thank my beautiful family, all of the artists that were collaborators, thank you, this wouldn’t have been this album without you. God again, and I’m still in shock … and thank you again for this honor.”

Earlier in the evening, Beyoncé earned a Grammy for best country duo/group performance with Miley Cyrus for their song “II Most Wanted.” Miley won her first country Grammy award, earning the accolade in the genre before her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus.

Throughout the evening, Grammys host Trevor Noah reminded viewers the Recording Academy was focused on raising funds for relief efforts and honoring first responders following the LA fires.

Since launching the Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort To Support Music Professionals, the Recording Academy and MusiCares have raised and pledged over $4 million in emergency aid for music professionals impacted by the crisis, according to the Recording Academy.

At one point during the show, members of the Los Angeles County Fire Department stood on stage and received a standing ovation before presenting the winner for album of the year.

Kendrick Lamar dedicated his record of the year win for “Not Like Us,” a diss track against Drake released in May, to “the city” of Los Angeles.

Jessica Biel Reflects on Marriage in a Birthday Tribute to Justin Timberlake

Actress Jessica Biel and pop star Justin Timberlake have been married for ten years and together for almost 16, and they’re still going strong. The pair have had their ups and downs, including a brief breakup and even briefer photo scandal. But they recently renewed their vows and share two sons, one of whom was born during COVID-19 lockdown.

Here’s the complete timeline of their relationship thus far.

January 2007

Shortly after his break up with Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are seen snowboarding together with a group of friends in Park City, Utah, and some might say even flirting. Biel had just broken up with baseball star Derek Jeter. A source told People that Timberlake was only “trying to have a good time.”

They added, “He is in no way looking to be in a relationship. He’s single and he’s happy.”

May 2007

Another source says that Timberlake is “in love” with Biel, adding, “He wants to be with her all the time. He’s ready to be serious.”

December 2008

On the cover of British GQ, Biel calls her very private relationship with Timberlake her “one sparkly present” that she doesn’t “want to open in front of strangers.”

“It’s the one part of my life that is my own and not for anyone else,” she said at the time.

September 2009

Rumors start circulating that the couple have broken up, but a source said, “They’re together…They’re not breaking up. Any time they spend time apart it’s because they’re working.”

They did add, “Things have been a bit up in the air recently. They’ve been spending more time apart—more time with each of their friends, and they’ve been reevaluating [their relationship].”

March 2011

A few years later, things go from assessing to ending. They decided to end their relationship, but a source stated there were “no hard feelings” and it “was completely mutual, and they both decided it was time to move on.”

Reps confirmed the break up, saying, “Addressing the media speculation regarding Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake’s relationship, we are confirming that they mutually have decided to part ways. The two remain friends and continue to hold the highest level of love and respect for each other.”

In the July issue of Vanity Fair, Timberlake is effusive about his ex.

“She is the single-handedly most significant person in my life,” he says. “In my 30 years, she is the most special person, okay? I don’t want to say much more, because I have to protect things that are dear to me—for instance, her.”

Like, I don’t, I can’t go back, so, which is what fatherhood’s like too.”

Biel also spoke to Entertainment Tonight, and shared how she knew that Timberlake was the one.

“I knew that he was my person early on, but we were so young,” she said. “There wasn’t any big risks being taken. There wasn’t anything… really putting anything on the line. We were just hanging out. I think before we got married, that’s when I was like, ‘Oh yeah, this is the person I want to be in the boat with when we hit the rapids, because we’re going to hit the rapids and we’re going to have to hold on tight. Can you row? Because I can row, I think you can row, let’s try this.’”

Biel added, “It was like that early on in our relationship and when you’re married for the first time you go, ‘Okay. You can’t just jump out of this thing.’”

In 2019, pics were leaked of Timberlake holding hands with his Palmer co-star Alisha Wainwright, and Us Weekly reported that Biel pushed him to apologize publicly.

“Jessica encouraged Justin to put out his statement on Instagram because she felt embarrassed by his actions and wanted him to take accountability,” a source said. “Jessica was very upset and embarrassed by Justin’s behavior. [But] they are still united, very much together and strong.”

Wainwright’s rep denied anything happened between them, as did he in his statement. He wrote:

I stay away from gossip as much as I can, but for my family, I feel it is important to address recent rumors that are hurting the people I love.

A few weeks ago, I displayed a strong lapse in judgement—but let me be clear—nothing happened between me and my costar. I drank way too much that night and I regret my behavior. A few months later, Timberlake’s former *NSYNC colleague Lance Bass told Entertainment Tonight, “The baby is cute of course; it’s Justin and Jessica!”

While he spilled those beans, he did not reveal the baby’s name, adding, “Justin would kill me!”

Timberlake’s friend and collaborator, Brian McKnight also confirmed the child’s existence in an interview with Hollywood Life.

“Having kids and having his family, I think [Justin] took some time to focus on those things because those things are very important,” he said. “I think if he’s going to do music, he’s going to make sure that that’s secure, and then he’ll bring us into his music. And being inspired! He just had a new baby. I think that’s going to be really inspiring for him and he’ll have some new music based on that, I’m sure.”

Timberlake confirmed he had a new baby himself while speaking to Ellen DeGeneres on her former talk show, a son named Phineas.

“He’s awesome and so cute. Nobody’s sleeping,” Timberlake said. “But we’re thrilled. We’re thrilled and couldn’t be happier. Very grateful.”

Timberlake posted on Instagram for Biel’s 40th birthday, and wrote on his Story, “Whether it’s laid up on a couch, kicking my ass at the gym or, dressing up at ridiculous costume parties… you make it all look good. I love you and I celebrate you every day.”

Biel revealed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that her husband threw her a huge birthday party for the milestone birthday and covered a bunch of her favorite songs.

“He’s just my favorite….He threw me such an amazing, amazing party. And he flew his band in and he performed for me,” she gushed. “Look, I will go head-to-head with everybody, but I’m his No. 1 fan. And I mean, who do I want to see on my birthday? It’s him and his band. He’s my favorite.”

During the premiere of her Hulu series Candy, Biel told Entertainment Tonight why her relationship with Timberlake is going strong ten years later.

“It’s a really good question, right?” she said. “Well, I’ll have to give Justin the credit in this moment, for this one thing that he always says to me: ‘We might be married, but we have to keep dating,’ and it’s so true. You just have to keep making time for each other and you have to keep making each other a priority. And do the things that you love together.”

“It’s not always easy, as we all know, but those touch point moments make all the hard times palatable,” she added.

Timberlake even made a cameo in the series as Deputy Steve Deffibaugh, a part he volunteered for after reading the show’s script.

“He said, ‘Oh, who’s playing this character?’ I said, ‘Oh, I don’t know, probably somebody local. We don’t have any money left,’” Biel said. “And he goes, “I want to play it.’”

October 2022

The official anniversary of ten years of marriage was that October, and Timberlake posted, “10 years ain’t enough! You make me a better husband and father every day! I love you so much you beautiful human! Run it back!”

Biel shared a carousel of images as well, writing, “Being married to you is the adventure of a lifetime! Run it back, baby. RUN IT BACK. I love you.”

November 2022

Biel’s post revealed that the couple had a vow renewal ceremony when she reshared it in a Story, writing, “From our wedding vow renewal this summer—in Italy where it all went down.”

She went on Today and described the ceremony as “very intimate” with just a “couple of friends.”

“We almost canceled it,” Biel said. “We thought, ‘This is silly, are we going to feel goofy doing this?’ And actually, it was so moving. I felt like, ‘Wow, we’re going to keep doing this. Look at us!’ It felt really nice.”

She added of her marriage, “It feels so, I don’t know, a combination of incredibly safe and just deep understanding of another person.”

January 2023

Biel celebrated Timberlake’s 42nd birthday, writing, “Happy birthday to the person who challenges and inspires me every day. The person who keeps me laughing and creating and risking it all. The person who makes the ordinary extraordinary. You know who you are. I love you.”

March 2023

Timberlake fêted Biel’s 41st birthday with his own Instagram tribute to her, featuring a carousel of couple pics. “Let me tell y’all about this human… she is the most badass, most graceful, most gorgeous DREAM of a partner I could have ever wished for,” he wrote in his caption. “And today is her bday! I’m so glad you were born, my love. And, I’m so lucky that you are choosing to do this thing called life with me. Aging like a FINE🍷!!!! I love you to the moon and back. —Huz.”

Later that month, on Thursday, March 23, the pair were at the final night of SZA’s SOS Tour in Los Angeles. On his Instagram Stores, Timberlake shared a photo of their tickets to the concert at The Kia Forum, with the words “Date night” over it, even tagging SZA herself. There were also some video shots of them dancing and enjoying themselves during the show.

October 2023

In October, photos came out of Biel and Timberlake on a vacation in Italy, the country where they were married and where they celebrated their 10-year vow renewal ceremony last year. The couple were seen with sons Silas, 8, and Phineas, 3, in Venice and Rome exploring the city’s catacombs and going shopping. In several pics, they’re holding hands or embracing sweetly.

Later in the month, excerpts from the new memoir by Britney Spears, The Woman in Me, included some stories of her former relationship with Timberlake. They did not show the *NSYNC member in a flattering light. Spears alleged that she had an abortion after she became pregnant with Timberlake’s baby, writing that she was surprised by the pregnancy, but it was not “a tragedy.”

She added that she loved him and wanted to have children eventually.

“But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy,” she continued in the book. “He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young…Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father.”

Spears then called the abortion “one of the most agonizing” experiences of her life.

A source tells People that despite these revelations, the musician is doing well and is focused on his family and Biel. He is also looking forward to the *NSYNC reunion and his upcoming Trolls movie.

“He’s happy at home with Jess and their kids and he’s focusing on new music. He’s in such a great place,” explained the insider.

November 2023

On Saturday, January 27, Timberlake was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live and Biel was seen wearing a stylish yet casual outfit as she showed up to support her husband. The actress wore a plaid flannel jacket, a white T-shirt with a colorful graphic print design, and a black mini-skirt. On her feet were a pair of Doc Martens and she carried a handbag covered in chains.

Timberlake performed some new tracks off his upcoming solo album “Everything I Thought It Was.”

On January 31, Biel paid tribute to her husband for his birthday with a video montage of moments they shared together. “I ALWAYS got you. Happy birthday, babe,” she wrote.

February 2024

In an appearance on the Graham Norton Show, Timberlake took the opportunity to gush about Biel and their family life, especially how much he loves being a dad to his sons Silas and Phineas.

“I have two wonderful children, who are going to be the death of me,” the pop star shared. “But yeah two boys and a wonderful wife and I’m just happy. Is that controversial these days?”

Timberlake is promoting his upcoming album Everything I Thought I Was. He explained his new music is inspired by his family life.

“I think it’s just, you get to a point in your life where you realize that all the things that have conspired really to get you to this point are beautiful,” he continued. “And I don’t think I’ve ever taken the time to reflect and look at my life and say like, ‘Wow this is really cool’ and just be thankful for it.”

He said that he shared his music with friends and family first.

“I was starting to play it for people close to me and they kept saying, ‘Oh that reminds me of something from Justified,’ my first album, or ‘That reminds me of something from FutureSex/LoveSounds.’”

Timberlake continued, “And then finally you know I finished playing them the songs and they said, ‘This sounds like everything we know you for, everything we thought we wanted from you.’ And so that phrase started floating around in my mind. And then just kind of mixing it in with everything I thought it was being this life that I’m just incredibly grateful for.”

On March 3, Timberlake posted a sweet video montage dedicated to Biel for her 42nd birthday. The song “The Best” by Tina Turner played in the background. Along with some silly clips of Biel, the video featured adorable moments throughout their relationship and with their two sons, Silas, 8, and Phineas, 3.

“There ain’t no other way to say it. You’re the best. I love you. Happy birthday, ya 🐐!” Timberlake captioned the reel.

October 2024

During the couple’s 12th anniversary, Biel was traveling with Timberlake for his Forget Tomorrow World Tour and they spent that evening at Montreal’s Bell Centre. In an Instagram post, Timberlake included a clip of himself thanking Biel from the stage in a warm tribute for the special day.

“My wife is here tonight. And tonight is our 12-year anniversary,” he said. “So be nice to her, Montreal, because she’s sharing me with all of you guys tonight…I love you, baby.”

On February 1, Biel wished her husband a happy birthday with a carousel of photos from their life together including a cute throwback pic from early in their relationship. In the caption, she gave an honest reflection on marriage and its ups and downs.

Luka Doncic breaks silence following trade from Dallas Mavericks: ‘I wanted so badly to bring you a championship’

In his first comments since being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers earlier Sunday, NBA superstar Luka Doncic penned a thank you letter to the Dallas Mavericks, their fans and the city of Dallas.

“Seven years ago, I came here as a teenager to pursue my dream of playing basketball at the highest level,” Doncic wrote in a post on X. “I thought I’d spend my career here and I wanted so badly to bring you a championship. The love and support you all have given me is more than I could have ever dreamed of. For a young kid from Slovenia coming to the U.S. for the first time, you made North Texas feel like home.”

In one of the most stunning trades in league history, the Lakers acquired Doncic, as well as Maxi Kleber, Markieff Morris from the Dallas Mavericks for Anthony Davis, Max Christie and the Lakers’ 2029 first-round draft pick.

ESPN’s Shams Charania first broke the news of the blockbuster trade on Saturday, citing sources.

“In good times and bad, from injuries to the NBA Finals, your support never changed,” Doncic continued. “Thank you not only for sharing my joy in our best moments, but also for lifting me up when I needed it most.”

Doncic, 25, is currently out with a calf injury but has averaged 28.1 points, 8.3 rebounds and 7.8 assists per game in 22 games with the Mavericks this season.

A part of the three-team deal, the Utah Jazz are acquiring Jalen Hood-Schifino, a 2025 Los Angeles Clippers second-round draft pick, and a 2025 Mavericks second-round pick to round out the trade.

The five-time All-Star said he was “grateful” for the opportunity to play in Los Angeles alongside LeBron James.

“Basketball means everything to me, and no matter where I play the game, I’ll do so with the same joy, passion and goal – to win championships.,” Doncic said.

Per ESPN’s Tim MacMahon, the Mavericks had “major concerns” with Doncic’s conditioning and impending potential supermax contract extension. Even with those concerns going public, it’s still a shocking decision by the organization – Doncic was on the All-NBA Team for the last five years and made five consecutive All Star teams before this season when he’s been limited by injury.

“Dallas is a special place, and Mavs fans are special fans. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart,” Doncic posted.

While there is no timetable for Doncic’s return to the court, the Lakers are next scheduled to play on Tuesday against crosstown rivals Los Angeles Clippers at the Intuit Dome.

Lakers acquire Doncic from Mavs in exchange for Davis: report

 In a blockbuster move, the Los Angeles Lakers have reportedly acquired Luka Doncic from the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for Anthony Davis.

ESPN reported on Saturday night (Sunday, Manila time) that the deal will also see Maxi Kleber and Markieff Morris go to the Lakers, while Dallas will also receive Max Christie and Los Angeles’ 2029 first round pick.

The trade also involves the Utah Jazz, who will get Lakers guard Jalen Hood-Schifino as well as 2025 second round picks from the LA Clippers and Mavericks.

In a statement to ESPN, Dallas general manager Nico Harrison said the move gives them a chance to “win now and in the future” with Davis as the anchor of their defense.

“I believe that defense wins championships,” said Harrison. “I believe that getting an All-Defensive center and an All-NBA player with a defensive mindset gives us a better chance.”

In Doncic, the Lakers will get a player to build around in the post-LeBron James era. Drafted by the Mavericks with the third pick of the 2018 Rookie Draft, the Slovenian is already a five-time All-Star and a five-time All-NBA First Team Selection. He led the Mavs to the NBA Finals in 2024, losing to the Boston Celtics.

Doncic is averaging 28.1 points, 8.3 rebounds and 7.8 assists per game for the Mavericks. However, he has been sidelined since Christmas with a calf injury.

Davis, meanwhile, is a 10-time All-Star who helped the Lakers win the 2020 NBA championship. He came to the Lakers in a blockbuster trade with the New Orleans Pelicans in July 2019. He is averaging 25.7 points, 11.9 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game this season.

Reports of the trade surfaced shortly after the Lakers — with Davis sidelined by an abdominal muscle strain — beat the Knicks 128-112 in New York.

“According to people inside the Lakers’ locker room not authorized to speak publicly, the trade was a complete shock,” the Los Angeles Times reported.

“This deal materialized in the shadows,” Shams Charania, the ESPN reporter who broke the news, said in discussing the trade on the network.

“LeBron James had no idea this was coming. Anthony Davis had no idea this was coming. I’m told Luka Doncic is still stunned about this trade.”

Doncic led the league in scoring last season with 33.9 points per game and was a finalist for the Most Valuable Player Award.

However, several injuries in recent years have seen his fitness called into question.

ESPN cited unnamed sources in saying the Mavericks were concerned about Doncic’s trouble staying in shape. He has played in just 22 games this season.

He would have been eligible to receive a super-max contract extension worth more than $300 million after this season.

James noted after the Lakers’ victory over the Knicks that Davis’s absence made for a big defensive void.

“Without AD it’s got to be a collective group, not one of us can do it by ourselves,” James said. “We damn sure can’t take up all what AD does — he covers for all of us.”

As Kanye West made a surprise return to the Grammys, his wife, Bianca Censori, made her debut at the ceremony wearing almost nothing.

On Sunday, Feb. 2, the couple arrived at the 2024 award show without warning, the musician, 47, walking the red carpet hand in hand with the Yeezy architectural designer and model, 30, who wore nothing but a mini dress made of sheer illusion netting.

For the couple’s rare and unexpected appearance, West wore head-to-toe black — trousers, a T-shirt and sunglasses — and though Censori initially complemented him in a black, fur coat, she later dropped it to reveal her almost entirely naked look.

As the couple — known for their provocative and dramatic looks — walked the carpet, Censori turned around next to West, who was still facing the photographers, to drop her floor-length jacket, going from full to almost no coverage at all in the dramatic reveal.

Along with the almost-invisible dress, which Censori layered nothing over or under, she wore a pair of clear heels. The model’s hair, meanwhile, was pulled into a sleek bun and for makeup, she wore a thin brow, smoky eye and nude lip.

Censori and West (who received a nod at the ceremony for “Carnival,” his song with Ty Dolla $ign, Playboi Carti and Rich the Kid) did not stick around for the main show, instead exiting after their red carpet appearance, PEOPLE can confirm.

Censori’s almost entirely naked look not only sent shockwaves through the red carpet, but it also started a heated conversation on social media, leaving many wondering about the inspiration behind the look — as well as its legality.

“No way bianca censori just showed up to the grammies like that,” one user wrote on X. “She is deada– naked.”

Another X user, meanwhile, questioned whether the model’s look is legal, writing, “Surely that’s public indecency and warrants arrest????”

“How is Bianca Censori dressing like Eve before the fall at a public event?” another post echoed. “Is indecent exposure no longer a law?”

The couple’s shocking appearance also marked West’s return to the Grammys after a decade. The last time he attended the award show was in 2015, when he walked the red carpet with then-wife Kim Kardashian.

Taylor Swift just shut down the 2025 Grammys red carpet in a shocking and provocative look.

The pop icon, who already has 14 Grammy statues, turned heads as she posed for photographers in a show-stopping ensemble that has left style editors and Swifties alike decoding every detail.

Swift wore a “Chiefs red” sequin micro mini by Vivienne Westwood featuring a corseted bodice and one-shoulder detailing, plus a slit so high it revealed a thigh chain with ruby heart stones and a glittery red initial “T,” likely a nod to her boyfriend Travis Kelce, which Swift and her stylist Joseph Cassell designed in collaboration with Lorraine Schwartz.

Swift finished off the look with more Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and matching Casadei heels, plus her go-to red lip.

The singer, 35, has been nominated for six awards at this year’s ceremony, including record of the year for “Fortnight” featuring Post Malone and album of the year for The Tortured Poets Department. Swift could make history at this year’s ceremony by winning the latter for the fifth time.

Last year, Swift pulled off some very meta method dressing at the 66th annual Grammys. The star hit the red carpet at L.A.’s Crypto Arena in a black-and-white look and moody glam that many thought was Reputation-coded, when in fact it was littered with easter eggs for her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, which she announced on stage at the show.

Swift wore a strapless white Schiaparelli gown with a thigh-high slit, accessorized with black opera gloves, and a number of telling accessories.

Her custom made Lorraine Schwartz choker featuring an Art Deco watch by Concord, plus layers of necklaces and more than 300 carats of Lorraine Schwartz diamonds.

Swift was paying homage to the actress Clara Bow (the title of a track on her TTPD album) by wearing a pile of vintage-looking necklaces similar to the jewelry Bow wore in the 1920s. Bow, a popular silent film siren of the 1920s who also made headlines for her personal life and romantic relationships, served as the inspiration behind the song, witch Swift seemingly drawing comparisons to both of their respective careers and highly publicized lives in the spotlight.

Swift is known to dress in celebration of her various musical eras. In 2023, the superstar rocked head-to-toe midnight blue (a tribute to her Midnights album) in a Roberto Cavalli two-piece set, featuring a crystal-embellished, long-sleeve crop top and matching floor-sweeping skirt. She teamed the look with Giuseppe Zanotti platform heels dyed to match her dress and $3 million worth of Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, with pieces boasting more than 136 carats of natural purple sapphires, paraibas and kite-shaped diamond earrings.

Swift received four nominations in 2023 and one win for best music video for her “All Too Well” short film. The singer made history with the award as she became the first artist to win in the category with a sole directing credit for their own video.

Swift will go from the stage to the stadium stands for her next big appearance as she heads to New Orleans on Feb. 9 for the 2025 Super Bowl where boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Philadelphia Eagles at Caesar’s Superdome.

And if her game day style patterns this season is any indication, she’s about to cheer on her man in some luxe logos. (For the last two playoff games she was dripping in head-to-toe Chanel and Louis Vuitton.)
