This was revealed by Brown in a recent interview with the Today Show. According to the Stranger Things actress, the reason Bon Jovi doesn’t sterilize the party’s entertainment is to give the 61-year-old musician a break.
“I feel like that’s asking me to go and do a full show for everybody. I think man needs a break, he doesn’t stop. She is always giving tennis or singing lessons. I think he needs a break. A three-hour break,” Brown said.
However, the reason behind Jon Bon Jovi not giving a show at his son’s wedding may have more serious connotations. The last time the band Bon Jovi played a concert was in May 2022 as part of a tour throughout the United States. However, the tour caused a lot of controversy due to the singer’s vocal wear. After the tour ended, sources close to Jon sparked rumors that Jon was planning to retire from music.
“As we get older, we enter certain phases of life, and being a singer, musician and actor is no longer fun,” the singer reportedly said, according to sources.
While it is not certain that Jon has “hung up the microphone”, it is a fact that he will not sing at his son’s wedding, but despite this, the planning of the event has been a great experience for Millie Bobby Brown, who confessed to being very excited and assured that her fiancé Jake has been very involved throughout the process.
“It hasn’t been stressful at all for me. Jake is very involved. He has helped me a lot throughout the process. I’ve never felt alone, which I think is very good. I’m always thinking, ‘Is that a good idea? That’s a good idea? But all in all, it’s a very intimate day for both of us and we’re both very excited.”
The actress also implied that, as has become very customary in recent years in Hollywood, it will be an intimate ceremony in which the media will not be invited.

It was last April when Millie revealed to the world that she was engaged. The actress shared a photo of herself with her now fiancé showing off a large diamond ring and a phrase belonging to the song Lover by Taylor Swift.
