SHOCKING! Black Sabbath REUNIONS FOR THE LAST TIME – Join Metallica, Slayer, Pantera For A LEGENDARY NIGHT!
Black Sabbath will reunite for a final concert in July, marking the end of an era for the legendary heavy metal band. The original lineup—Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward—will take the stage together for the last time at Villa Park in Birmingham, United Kingdom, on July 5. The event, titled “Back to the Beginning,” will be a charity concert, with all proceeds going to Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acorn Children’s Hospice.
The lineup for the night will feature a mix of classic and contemporary metal bands. Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Anthrax, Alice in Chains, Gojira, Halestorm, Lamb of God, and Mastodon are among the confirmed acts. In addition, an all-star ensemble will pay tribute to Black Sabbath’s legacy, with performances from Billy Corgan, Tom Morello, Fred Durst, Jonathan Davis, Wolfgang Van Halen, and others. Morello will also serve as the musical director for the night.
Ozzy Osbourne said: “It’s my time to go ‘Back to the Beginning’… time for me to give back to the place where I was born. How blessed am I to do it with the help of people whom I love. Birmingham is the true home of metal. Birmingham forever.”
Tom Morello described the event as “the greatest heavy metal show ever,” highlighting the significance of Black Sabbath’s final performance.
Metallica also shared their excitement: “We are beyond honored and humbled to be invited to perform at Black Sabbath’s final show, back where it all began in Birmingham. As part of this huge celebration of nearly six decades of Black Sabbath, we’ll hit the stage just before a short solo set from Ozzy Osbourne, followed by the mighty Sabbath closing the show.”
Tickets for the concert will go on sale on February 14 at 10 a.m. GMT via Ticketmaster UK and Live Nation UK.
