Salma Hayek’s stunning ‘90s casting photo resurfaces: ‘The original Megan Fox’
Salma Hayek was dubbed “the original Megan Fox” after her stunning casting photo from the 1990s resurfaced on social media.
The popular nostalgia account @PopCulture2000s shared the recovered image of the actress, now 58, from her younger years in a post to X.
While the X account claimed the snap was taken in 1995, Hayek’s resumè that was also included in the post listed off projects from later years, including her 1997 movie “Fools Rush In” and her 1997 film “From Dusk Til Dawn.”

The printed-out Polaroid captured Hayek — who was in her 20s at the time — giving a smoldering look while wearing a simple scoop-neck pink tee and a large silver cross necklace.
The “Frida” star also wore her dark soft curls in a smooth side part and rocked a glossy nude lipstick shade and shimmery eyeshadow.
The casting photo swiftly went viral, prompting fans to flood the comments section of the post with compliments.

“The original megan FoX,” one person commented on the post.
“Salma Hayek been fire since fire was invented,” a second person gushed.
“if i could trade lives and body with one celebrity, it will definitely be her,” a third fan said.
“Beautiful as ever,” a fourth chimed in, with another adding, “That hair 🤩 she’s always been a babe. Then and now.”

She celebrated her 58th birthday in September by posting a series of swimwear snaps on social media.
“Iconic then. Iconic today. Legend tomorrow,” a supporter said.
Another noted there was “no filter” used on the throwback image.
Hayek often posts sexy snaps on social media — proving she is just as “beautiful as ever.”
In September, the “30 Rock” alum celebrated her 58th birthday by posting a photo dump of swimsuit photos in which she showed off her fit figure.

“Birthday bikini dump, happy 58th birthday to me! 🎂❤️🎉P.s none of these are throwbacks,” she captioned the post at the time.
While she has flaunted her miraculously youthful appearance, Hayek has no problem celebrating her age.
In August, the Mexican native showed off her gray roots while vacationing on a yacht in Ibiza, Spain.
“Yellow bikini + White hair = perfect combination #ibiza,” she wrote in the caption at the time.

“For me, exercising is hard… It’s really, really difficult to have the discipline to do it,” Hayek previously told “Entertainment Tonight.”
The natural beauty previously shared that the secret to maintaining her ageless glow is taking care of her mental health through meditation.
“People say it’s exercising. I think it’s meditation,” she told “Entertainment Tonight” in 2023. “You have to find your way.
She added, “For me, exercising is hard… It’s really, really difficult to have the discipline to do it. But meditation is a walk in the park, because it’s my own form of it. You sit in a moment with yourself, that’s already meditation. But I do it every day.”
