Music icon Madonna is said to have ‘strict rules’ for her 28-year-old boyfriend Akeem Morris when they spend time together

Madonna has a few rules for her younger boyfriend Akeem Morris to follow and one of them involves the the television.

The La Isla Bonita singer, 66, is currently dating Jamaican-born sports star Akeem Morris, 28, with the pair seemingly unable to keep their hands off each other. However, it’s alleged the relationship sees Madonna very much in control, with the star writing up a few strict rules for him.

Earlier this year, the music icon split up from her son’s former boxing coach Josh Popper, 30, before reports came out that she ‘grew closer’ to British-Nigerian boxer Richard Riakporhe. Not long after, photos were released of her and Akeem looking hopelessly in love with each other.

However, it looks like their romance came with a few rules. A source recently claimed the pop star “subjected Akeem to a bunch of dating ‘rules’ and strict conditions”. An insider recently said of the duo’s new relationship: “And he’s agreed to them because he’s hot and willing to pay the rub.”

It’s said he can’t watch sports when they’re spending time together

The insider continued to Radar: “She’s very strict. He’s living in her place and just because he’s sharing her bed, doesn’t mean he gets to sleep in it. She does, and he has to go to sleep and get up when she does, no matter what.” According to the insider, she also bans him from watching sports and TV when they spend time together.

Mirror Online have reached out to Madonna’s reps for comment. It is said that the couple first met each other on the set of Paper Magazine’s photo spread in 2022, which was themed around a ‘wild night out in New York City’. Akeem was part of the shoot, but at the time there was no hint of a romantic connection.

The first sign of their blossoming romance emerged during this year’s July 4th celebrations, when Madonna opened up about the ‘amazing year’ she’d enjoyed after having suffered serious health problems. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Madonna – who was last year hospitalised with septic shock – shared sweet pictures of her and Akeem looking cosy and happy together.

One snap showed them enjoying a firework display from a rooftop, while another offered a glimpse of them curled up on the couch in domestic bliss. With just one post, Madonna made things Instagram official, and it certainly wouldn’t be a stretch to assume that Akeem has played a significant part in making her year so memorable.
