Diddy’s life behind bars as told by fellow inmates
Diddy is currently in custody awaiting trial. A fellow inmate of the rapper has shared how Diddy expresses himself in prison.
According to US media, Diddy is currently being held in the 4 North section of the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn. This is a detention area with relatively flexible regulations, where inmates can relax by playing air hockey and are served better meals than in regular detention areas. Currently, Diddy continues to deny the allegations against him.

While awaiting trial, Diddy is reportedly sharing a cell block with former cryptocurrency billionaire Sam Bankman-Fried, who is serving a 25-year sentence for fraud, embezzlement and conspiracy.
In an interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, Sam Bankman-Fried revealed how inmates reacted to finding out they were being held with a celebrity like Diddy.
When asked if he had made friends with his fellow inmates, Sam Bankman-Fried replied: “I’ve made some friends, it’s a weird environment. There are some people who are also celebrities involved in big lawsuits, and there are a lot of former accused gang members.”

When talking about Diddy, the former billionaire said: “I only saw one side of him, which was Diddy in prison. He was very nice to the people in the cell and very nice to me. It’s a really demoralizing place and we only see each other for what’s going on inside, not who we were outside.”
On the reaction of inmates to being locked up with celebrities, Sam Bankman-Fried shared: “Some people seem to see it as an opportunity to meet people they wouldn’t normally have access to. I understand that from their perspective, but I don’t think of prison that way.”
Last month, Diddy’s attorney, Anthony Ricco, abruptly withdrew from the legal team ahead of his scheduled trial in May. In a motion to withdraw filed in a New York court, Anthony Ricco stated bluntly: “Under no circumstances can I continue to serve as counsel for Sean Combs (Diddy).”
Diddy’s “lengthy” crimes have left the public shuddering.
