Kid Rock Stuns BBC Reporter With ‘Sexy’ Ski Date Invite During Live Interview
Kid Rock surprised a reporter from BBC with some flirtatious remarks in an interview on January 20.
The musician appeared on BBC News to talk about his plans for Donald Trump’s inauguration. He performed a few songs at a pre-inauguration rally at the Capitol One Arena in Washington D.C. on Sunday.
In a clip from the broadcast, via The Sun, Rock said, “I’m done with work, so I can actually celebrate the rebirth of America today.” Then, he asked BBC reporter Caitriona Perry, “What about you? What are you doing? Where are you at?”
Perry mentioned she was on a rooftop for the broadcast, which would last 11 or 12 hours, and pointed out the cold weather. Although it seemed like Rock was on a Zoom call with her, it was actually just an audio call.
Kid responded, “I can’t see you right now, so I don’t know what you look like.” The reporter joked that she was ‘ready to hit the slopes’ because she was wearing ski and winter gear to stay warm during the broadcast.
The singer stated, “I love to go skiing. You sound sexy, you want to go with me?” Perry hesitated before answering, “Well, we won’t get into that right here, so. We’re doing no skiing today, we’ve got a day of broadcasting to do. But Kid Rock, thank you so much for joining us here on BBC News, enjoy your day.”
The Village People, Lee Greenwood, and Billy Ray Cyrus also performed at the inauguration eve celebrations. Trump and his team said he would take over 100 executive actions on his first day in office. Some of his orders included declaring a national emergency at the border, boosting oil production, renaming the Gulf of Mexico, recognizing only two genders, and targeting drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations, per USA Today.
