‘Harry won’t return to the royal family unless William apologizes’

Prince Harry is said to not return to working for the royal family unless William apologises but is willing to ‘help out’ if his father asks.

Sources close to the Duke of Sussex say Harry is focused on making a success of his own life and insists he is happy with his decision to step back from the royal family. However, he would still be willing to take on an interim role if his father asked him to.

Harry’s friends say that in the current situation of the royal family’s lack of manpower, when King Charles III and Princess Kate both have cancer, he is willing to help if called upon. At the same time, Harry is also determined to improve his relationship with his father, especially after his health problems.

However, the Duke of Sussex – who turns 40 next week – is said to be waiting for an apology from William if he is invited back into the royal family. A source close to the prince also said Harry was aware of William’s feelings on the matter after the Mirror reported that Prince William had hinted at not giving his brother a chance to return.

William’s decision was shaped and reinforced since Harry published his memoir Spare . In the book, Harry targeted many members of the royal family, such as accusing William of hitting him, Kate of making Meghan cry, and Camilla of being an evil stepmother.

William and Harry have not spoken for months and are currently not in contact. Last week, the brothers both attended the funeral of their uncle Robert Fellowes, but those present said they did not see William and Harry interacting. The pair were said to have sat apart at St Mary’s Church in Snettisham, where the funeral took place. They arrived and left “very discreetly”.
