Frail Phil Collins, 71, sits while performing in Berlin during European leg of Genesis’ The Last Domino? tour – as the singer battles debilitating health conditions
Phil Collins continued to look frail as he performed with his band Genesis at the Mercedes Benz Arena in Berlin on Monday night.
The singer, who is touring with fellow bandmates Mike Rutherford and Tony Banks, all 71, shot a glum expression as he remained seated throughout the gig.
He’s been plagued by a number of health issues in recent years, starting with an injured vertebrae in his upper back in 2009.
The injury was sustained during a show and left him with cripplingly painful nerve damage.
Despite Phil’s health issues, after two break ups and a reunion tour, the English trio have been back on the road under the banner: The Last Domino? Tour.
The band opened their set with the song Behind The Lines and then Duke’s End, both from their hit 1980 album, Duke.
The setlist was full of Genesis staples including, the Mama, Follow You Follow Me, Invisible Touch, Throwing It All Away and I Can’t Dance, among others.

The tour, which was originally slated to begin in late 2020, had to be postponed twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic, eventually kicking off on September 20, 2021 with a show in at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham.
After playing concerts around parts of Europe, the tour would come to a halt on October 8, with just four dates left, when one band member tested positive for coronavirus.
Those shows have since been rescheduled for March 2022.
