Fans couldn’t get over the resemblance between father and son.

Jon Bon Jovireminisced on Throwback Thursday, sharing an old photo from when he was very young and stunning fans with how similar he looks to his son, Jake Bongiovi.

The singer posted the old snap on Instagram on April 17, simply writing, “Throwback Thursday.” In the picture, a youthful Bon Jovi sat on a couch with a guitar in his lap, looking right into the camera. He wore a long-sleeved blue shirt with shiny pants, shaggy brown hair and a necklace.

Bon Jovi didn’t share any details about when or where the photo was taken. The singer started his career in music as a teenager, and the photo looked to be taken in his early days.

Fans loved the throwback photo, amazed by how young Bon Jovi looked. “Cute little heartbreaker 🥰 I would’ve cried an ocean for you if we were in the same school,” wrote one fan, while someone else said, “So cute😊.”

“Oh what it is to be young! I bet that young man had no clue the ride his life would take him on!” wrote another, as a different fan commented on how he had “Such a Baby Face ❤️.”

While one fan praised the musician’s ageless looks, saying, “Haven’t aged a bit my friend,” a few felt like they were seeing Bon Jovi’s 22-year-old son, Jake.

“Your son looks just like you,” said one such fan, while a similar comment read, “You’re Jake’s twin! 😍.”

While Jake hasn’t followed in his father’s musical footsteps, he has already done some work in the entertainment industry as an actor and a model and he got married to actress Millie Bobby Brown last spring.
