Alicia Taylor Reveals the Moment She Knew ‘Something Was Wrong’ with Corey Before Shocking Tour Cancelation!

In a recent series of tweets, Alicia Taylor said she knew something was wrong with Corey Taylor before the tour was canceled.

“His health and happiness is the most important thing to me,” she wrote in a post on X, sharing a video of Corey from one of his shows, in which he talks about how supportive Alicia was during his difficult times. “I will always be by his side.”

Alicia wrote in a follow-up tweet, “This was in June. About a year ago, we were on separate tours, working our individual careers. Just looking at photos of him this time last year, you can tell something was wrong. I needed to be near him again- he had to do the work, but now at least I’m here to support him.”

“I’m so grateful he has done the excruciating inner and shadow work to build himself strong on his own. Trauma can cause a myriad of issues into adulthood. Please seek help and support. You can push through and find happiness. I promise,” she added.

In January of this year, Taylor announced the cancelation of his North American solo tour, which was set to start in Toronto on February 3 and run until March 3. The singer said the cancelation was due to his mental and physical health. He shared the news on Instagram.

“It is with a heavy heart that I announce the cancellation of my upcoming North American tour. For the past several months my mental and physical health have been breaking down, and I reached a place that was unhealthy for my family and I,” Corey wrote.

He continued, “I know this decision will come as a shock to some and may be regarded as unpopular by others – but after taking a hard look at where I am and where I was going, I need to pull myself back and be home with my family for the time being. Those of you who bought tickets and VIP packages for this upcoming run will get a full refund.”

“I send my love to the fans, my band, my family & friends, and everyone who’s helped me get here thus far. I promise I’m doing everything I can to be as healthy as I can be. Until then, my apologies to everyone we would have seen on the tour – and hopefully we’ll see you again down the line,” Taylor explained.

Later in February, Corey shared a positive update on his mental health recovery on Instagram. He posted a photo with his wife, Alicia, and expressed his gratitude and love.
